Testing software phases

Software testing is divided into three parts component test, component integration test and sub-system test. All phases have their own test approach and will identify different sets of defects. The component test focuses on the specific component, the integration test focuses on the interaction between several components, and the sub-system test looks at the provided functions. Overlap should be kept to a minimum. 

Thus, the size of the relief deviee is signifieantly smaller than for two-phase flow. Peak purity tests are used to demonstrate that an observed chromatographic peak is attributable to a single component. Mass spectrometry is the most sensitive and accurate technique to use for peak purity evaluation because of the specific information derived from the analysis. The testing of PLC software and hardware is in a number of different phases during the life cycle of the project and is designed to achieve different things. 

Testing is condncted in several phases depending on the complexity of the software design. The snpplier shall be responsible for developing modnle, integration, factory, and site acceptance test specifications to demonstrate that the design has been fully and accurately implemented. 

During the OQ phase, tests should be conducted to verify that any wireless data solution employed in addition to hardwired networks meets the roaming and resilience criteria documented in its corresponding requirements specification. Ideally you would try to avoid upgrading multiple pieces of your environment at the same time, as in the worst case example above. Although multiple rounds of testing is resource intensive, it is much easier to determine the source of any problems and resolve them in a controlled environment.
