Kharichkov (Ref 3) nitrated some machine and spindle oils, obtained from Russian mazut (qv) by moderately warming with coned nitric acid (d 1.50g/cc), and obtained thick, very viscous syrups, sol in benz, which can be used for separating them from the excess oil. By dissolving the nitrated products and pptg with w, he was able to obtain several fractions of varying d and N content. Acrylic and styrene-acrylic emulsion polymers are typically characterized fiar solids content, viscosity and pH. Commercial products range in solids content from about 35 to 65% by weight, and in viscosity from tens to thousands of centipoise. Solids content is determined gravimetrically. Samples are dried to constant weight in a forced-draft oven, typically at 150 °C, and cooled in a desiccator. Viscosity is conveniently detamined using a Brookfield viscometer. For meaningful viscosity comparisons between various samples, the same spindle size and rate of rotation (shear rate) should be used. 

The behaviour of vacuoles, which are enclosed in the complex coacervate drops, is also in agreement with this explanation. The contents of the vacuole are equilibrium liquid and thus have a greater conductivity than the coacervate surrounding them. The contribution of the GV to either the induction of chromosome condensation in transplanted nuclei or the induction of DNA synthesis is not yet clear. Masui and Markert (1971) have reported that cytoplasm from maturing Rana pipiens oocytes inhibits cell division when injected into fertilized eggs or cleavage blastomeres. One effect of this cytostatic factor is to cause mitosis to arrest at metaphase. The cytostatic factor appears only after breakdown of the GV, but this temporal coincidence is misleading enucleated oocytes acquire the factor at about the same time (Masui and Markert, 1971). Thus, to the extent that the cytostatic factor is the same as that which leads to chromosomal condensation and attachment to spindles in transplanted nuclei (Gurdon, 1968), neither the GV nor its contents makes a direct contribution to the appearance of such material. It is not known whether oocytes, enucleated prior to hormone exposure, subsequently acquire the cytoplasmic capacity to induce DNA synthesis in transplanted nuclei. 

Fibromas are composed mostly of fibroblasts and spindle cells and abundant collagen contents. Fibromas are not hormonally active. Fifteen percent of fibromas are associated with ascites (Fig. 9.32), and in 1% pleural fluid is also found [83]. This triad of an ovarian fibroma, ascites and pleural effusion constitutes the benign Meigs syndrome, which can be associated with elevated Ca-125 levels [84]. In basal cell nevus syndrome, numerous basal cell carcinomas are associated with abnormalities of bones, eyes, brain, and tumors, including ovarian bilateral fibromas [85]. 

Note Tare weight, (empty container) loaded weight (full) container) and contents should be clearly mentioned along with hazardous chemical classification and precautionary measures on the tankers.
