Cross-References to Other INDs. At times, IND submissions are supported by a cross-reference to another IND [21 CFR 312.23(b)]. The utility of the electronic IND submission will be further increased if all reference materials are supplied with the IND submission. You should handle these files in the same manner as other electronic files submitted to the IND. For example, you should generate the files from electronic source files rather than from scanned paper documents if at all possible. If the electronic source file is not available, we will accept a scanned copy. You should describe the file format and organization of these files as described in this guidance. [Pg.103]

The manuscript in its final and approved version must be submitted in camera-ready form. The corresponding electronic source files are also required for the production process, in particular the online version. Technical assistance in compiling the final manuscript can be provided by the publisher s production editor(s), especially with regard to the publisher s own Latex macro package which has been specially designed for this series. [Pg.1013]

Reminder Good practices and appropriate file creation start early in the manuscript preparation process. If author source files are not of adequate quality for production, then the publication process will be delayed. Authors should be mindful of publishers requirements early in the writing process. [Pg.59]

However, even if we work only with well-defined structures, it is always a good idea to store the source files (usually in the native format of the software that was used to create them), because in this way we can make sure no part of the drawing is lost in the conversion. However, native formats usually have the disadvantage of being bound to one specific program, and options for their automatic processing are limited. For this reason native data should be auxiliary, and the data for everyday use should be stored in some widely supported, well-documented format, probably one of those described above. This approach would also create a future-proof copy of our data, because proprietary formats tend to be problematic to use after 10 years or more. [Pg.96]

Cleaning and Transforming Data. When importing data from diverse data sources (files, databases, spreadsheets, LIMS systems, etc.) into a database or data warehouse, the 4 ta usually needs to be standardized, checked, and sometimes transformed to some common format and content. This allows faster search and retrieval, and serves as a check of data integrity. The rules that define the cleaning/trans-formation process are often termed "business rules," and in the case of chemical data, they may include checking and modification of chemical structures. [Pg.400]

Users with appropriate system privileges must be able to export documents in their native formats to any local or remote file systems to which they have access. Documents must be available for viewing in a standardized read-only format. Users must be able to view documents even if they do not have the native application. Users must also be able to match a printed or exported document to the original source file within the EDMS by means of unique system-generated identifiers referred to as watermarks. Watermarks must not obscure any information on the document and must be in a standardized format. Watermarks must not be obscured when the document is bound. [Pg.2555]

Although a traditional publishing process was used in the creation of the first two editions of AMH books, the need to provide users with multiple formats has required the work environment to be re-engineered and editors now work in an SGML environment. This allows production of reports such as a print-ready file (from which the book is published) an HTML version that serv es as the current CD-ROM and web-based products and potentially other formats or subsets of AMH data, from one set of source files. [Pg.77]

Use conditional compilation arrange for the compiler to be capable of compiling only certain parts of a given source file depending on the definition of some global symbol(s). [Pg.105]

The point which was emphasised when the version control system RCS was described —one must never keep duplicate copies of source files— applies with even more force when using the WEB system. [Pg.140]

Only the WEB source file must have a permanent existence in filestore the flies generated by weave and tangle and FORTRAN, Ratfor or C)... [Pg.140]

In fact, the ideal approach is to program in the WEB system and use RCS for version control of the WEB source files in the same way that RCS was used earlier for version control of the ratfor files. [Pg.140]

The WEB source file is relegated to Appendix 8.A to this chapter, the output from running weave on the WEB file followed by on weave s output is... [Pg.141]

The raw analytical data are stored in the source file (cf. Figure 7.1). Elimination of unimportant data, filtering, transformations, or compression of data leads to a library file, which is archived. The library files of an analytical database consist of a header and a collection of data blocks. The header contains information about the file organization, as well as control parameters. Stored in the data block are different sets of data that contain information about the analytical data, such as spectra, and about chemical structures and additional remarks. [Pg.275]

Separate compilation is the ability to develop a program in several independent pieces. Each piece is stored in its own file in the computer, and each can be edited and worked on separately. Each source file is independently translated (compiled) into a machine language file, which is called an object file. After the individual parts have been written and compiled, they are combined to form a complete program in a process called linking. [Pg.27]

We chose the second solution and implemented it in the form of annotation tables. From the user s perspective, an annotation table is simply a table of rows and columns that reflects the data stored in an associated Excel worksheet or a file. An annotation table normally contains a registry number column that is used to link the table to the rest of the database and a set of additional columns in the source file that define the data of interest. To create an annotation table, the user simply supplies the name of the file, a project that it should be hnked to, and a data security setting to Mobius. The file is then imported into a set of Oracle tables that hold annotation table data where it is then available for use on par with the other available data sources. Mobius can check for changes to the source file and update the table in Oracle whenever the source file changes if desired. Additionally, annotation table data can be... [Pg.331]

In 2012, the standard PDF/A-3 (ISO 19005-3 2012) has been released, which allows to save the original source files, for example, XML, CSV, XLS, DOC, CDF, CAD, JPEGS, together with the long-term archiving enabled PDF/A format... [Pg.308]

Now all the design (source) files have been entered and analyzed by the FPGA Express. The check mark will appear to indicate that each file is correct according to the FPGA Express. If not, the cross mark will appear instead. The next step is to synthesize the top most ( mitring ) module. [Pg.13]

Add a new source file non syn.v to the current project synthesis. FPGA Express will automatically performs syntax checking. [Pg.28]
