One gram of monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate represents approximately 7.2 mmol of sodium and of phosphate.

The 2-mg dose of exenatide once in suspension should be injected immediately [49 ].

Monocalcium phosphate monohydrate reacts almost as quickly as cream of tartar (potassium acid tartrate). Anhydrous monocalcium phosphate has four-fifths of the reactivity. Avastin Avastin is used for the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is supplied in 100 and 400 mg dosages. The 100 mg formulation consists of 240 mg a,a-trehalose dihydrate, 23.2 mg sodium phosphate (monobasic, monohydrate), 4.8mg sodium phosphate (dibasic, anhydrous), 1.6mg polysorbate 20 and water-for-injection. 

Formulation Aranesp is formulated as a sterile, colorless, preservative-free protein solution for intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) administration. There are two formulations the polysorbate solution includes excipients such as polysorbate 80, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous, and sodium chloride in water-for-injection while the albumin solution contains albumin, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous, and sodium chloride in water-for-injection. The pH for both formulations is 6.2 + 0.2. 

A new formulation of a saline laxative, Visicol, that is useful to prepare patients for procedures, was approved for use in 2001. Each 2-g tablet contains 1.102 g sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate and 0.398 g sodium phosphate dibasic anhydrous, for a total of 1.5 g sodium phosphate. Visicol tablets, taken in two doses of 30 g approximately 12 hours apart, induce diarrhea that rapidly and effectively cleanses the entire colon. Each administration has a purgative effect for approximately 1 to 3 hours.
