QA programme

The operating organization is responsible for the preparation and implementation of an overall QA programme that will ensure conformance with every aspect of safety. The principles and scope of this programme shall be established in accordance with the general requirements of Safety Series Nos 35-Sl and 35-S2, and with other national standards. [Pg.71]

This section shall describe the QA programme or refer to a description of it. A summary shall be provided of the items, services and processes to which the QA programme shall apply and of the organizational structure within which the [Pg.71]

This section shall describe or refer to the particular QA programme that has been established for the phases of design, procurement, construction, conunis-sioning and operation, as appropriate. The QA prograimne shall be consistent with the requirements of the research reactor project, its objectives, status and characteristics, and it shall be acceptable to the regulatory body. [Pg.72]

Includes radiation limits, prior approval, QA programmes, testing procedures, i nformation/documentation requirements, and marking/labelling/placarding. [Pg.444]

It is essential to develop a quality assurance (QA) programme that covers sample collection, sample handling, and methods for on-site and laboratory analysis, data handling and record keeping. The QA programme should address the variety of different scenarios likely to be encountered. Appropriate calibration and analytical... [Pg.233]

The plant has been conceived, designed and built following the best internationally available criteria and standards important for safety and for radiation protection, utilizing a QA programme which ensures the correctness of the process, by competent, cautious and accurate organizations, provided with all the technical, management and financial means necessary to obtain an excellent result. [Pg.243]

IV. 14. The QA programme should not only provide for the work supporting the safe transport of radioactive material to be carried out in a quality assured maimer, but also for the necessary management measures to be in place to control and maintain the programme. [Pg.300]

The design work should be performed according to a QA programme which includes independent reviews of all design documents. The general QA process is addressed in Safety Guide SG-Q-10 [5]. [Pg.6]

The safety analysis should be subject to an adequate QA programme. In particular, aU sources of data should be referenced and documented, and the whole process should be recorded and archived to allow independent checking. [Pg.46]

Bulgaria has an extensive QA programme related to accident analysis covering among others plant data preparation, input data preparation, cross checking procedures, input check preparation, etc. [Pg.257]

The replacement part is available from either the original nuclear grade QA programme -approved vendor or another such vendor. [Pg.273]

If the replacement part is exactly like the original part and is available from the same vendor or another vendor who has a certified nuclear grade QA programme and can provide a like-for-like replacement part, the replacement part can be procured and installed without extensive design, evaluation, and testing. [Pg.273]

The replacement part is no longer available from a nuclear grade QA programme - approved supplier or the supplier no longer maintains such a programme. [Pg.273]

Some manufacturers have discontinued their nuclear grade QA progranune - approved QA programme but may have the replacement part available as a commercial-grade item. In this situation, the important characteristics of the part must be verified for safety related plications. [Pg.273]

In this situation, the certification of the new part and the process used to certify the part must be in accordance with all nuclear grade QA programme requirements. [Pg.273]

A quality assurance (QA) programme shall be established and documented for the radioactive waste incineration system to ensure that the applicable requirements are followed during the design, construction and citation stages of the facility. Further guidance may be found in Ref. [10] and the related Safety Guides. [Pg.13]

A systematic and structured quality assurance (QA) programme should be applied in the entire design process as required by Ref. [11]. ... [Pg.11]
