Lastly, always follow the label. Any material sold as a crop protection chemical in the United States must be registered with the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) and labeled. For many years the preferred approach to immunity to infectious disease lias been by development of active immunity through the injection of a vaccine. The vaccine may be either an attenuated live infections agent, or an inactivated or killed product. Tolerance is the situation where the body (or a single cell) becomes tolerant after repeated exposure to a chemical. This means the effect of the chemical is diminished after several exposures. Barbiturates and alcohol both increase the activity of (induce) the enzymes that metabolize paracetamol to the toxic product. It would be equivalent to taking a larger dose.
