There is an increase in the volume of solid plastics waste. In recent decades, due to the worldwide use of plastic products, plastics waste has come to be a major component of both industrial and municipal wastes. In capacity and size terms, there will still be larger, longer and faster machines to come. There is much still to be done in the development of control systems for the decanter, leading to complete automation of decanter processes, with associated telemetering. [Pg.13]
