Meetings, with stakeholder groups

The committee recognizes and appreciates the extensive support of the Army ACWA team and the committee interactions with stakeholders and the Dialogue group, particularly the four members of the Dialogue known as the Citizens Advisory Technical Team (CATT). Members of the CATT attended all open meetings of the committee and shared information and their views with us. I believe our relationship with the sponsor, PMACWA, and his team and support contractors has been effective and constmctive and that the committee has been given the best available information to conduct this evaluation of the three technologies. [Pg.9]

The key test of effectiveness is whether any of these assurance mechanisms enhance the perceived credibility and reliability of reported information in the eyes of a particular stakeholder group. Additional work needs to be done in this area to determine which of these mechanisms meets the needs of different target audiences, including internal and external audiences. At this stage, companies may benefit most by focusing their efforts on pointed discussions and engagement with key stakeholder groups to understand current trust barriers and to identify what companies can do to increase their stakeholders level of trust and confidence in reported data and information - and in the company itself. [Pg.295]

After each submission in a tier, EPA requests a third-party contractor to convene a group of scientists and relevant experts from various stakeholder groups to discuss whether the potential hazards, exposures, and risks to children have been adequately evaluated and to provide input on the hazard and exposure data needs. The third-party contractor then provides a report to the EPA, which EPA reviews along with the original sponsor submission. The entire peer consultation process, including meetings and deliberations, is open to the pubHc. Members of the pubHc also have an opportunity to... [Pg.338]

From Fig. B4.3 it is obvious that this grouping of the requirements makes design a two-step process. The second step, which is the one engineering education has traditionally focused on, ends with the physical specification of an object, the engineered object, or what we in Se. B2.4 decided to call the plant, to such a level of detail that it can be demonstrated that if the object is realised (i.e. manufactured or constructed) in accordance with this specification, it will meet all stakeholder requirements. This specification may consist of text, drawings, computer models, and whatever else is required for the realisation without any further decision making or design effort. [Pg.128]

In general all policy actors should ensure that chemicals management policy formulation is done with the proper contribution and participation of all stakeholders. In particular, they are invited to make bigger efforts to get journalists and the media interested in chemical policy issues. Finally, stakeholders should make a concerted effort to provide positive inputs regarding the development of chemicals policy on multi-stakeholder platforms such as the SAICM Asian region focal group meeting which was held in May 2007. [Pg.26]

Prototyping has been used for elicitation where there is a great deal of uncertainty about the requirements, or where early feedback from stakeholders is needed. Prototyping can also be readily combined with other techniques, for instance, by using a prototype to provoke discussion in a group elicitation meeting, or as the basis for a questionnaire or think-aloud protocol. [Pg.273]

Use the PP to keep the project team on track. The PP should always be on the table at internal meetings and on the desk during your discussions with team members. One of the PP uses is holding individuals, groups, and offices accountable. Think of the PP as a contract between you and each individual, group, and office. Why All are involved in preparing the PP, or at least given the opportunity to participate. The PP is typically a dynamic document. Update it as needed and share updates with the project team, and as appropriate, with the client, owner, customer, and/or stakeholders. [Pg.188]
