The four queries were examined against a list of samples tested on Whelk CSP that constitutes our search domain. Search results are summarized in Table 4-3. Of the 616 3D structures in this database list, 370 fit at least one of the query (one sample may fit more than one query) and 335 are given as resolved according to chromatographic data or information reported in the field comment. Query 2 retrieved the largest number of compounds with a high percentage of resolved samples in the hit list. While the number of hits retrieved with Query 1 is lower, this query provided a similar proportion of resolved samples (93 %). 

As noted earlier, the obvious limitations of a system based on information reported on MSDSs and hazard lists are that MSDS information can be incomplete and inaccurate and screening hazard lists does not reflect a complete hazard assessment. Each laboratory in the OPMBS was required to send a copy of each workbook and the associated raw data, to study management soon after completion of the analysis. This information was provided after internal technical review but before local quality assurance review. Study management used a team of experienced residue chemists to review the results and the raw data and to ensure that the information reported was fully supportable. The laboratory remained at all times responsible for the data reported, however, and the results of the external review were formally considered to be advisory. 

The comparison is based primarily on information reported on the 323 MTBE remediation technology projects at U.S. EPA s MTBE Treatment Profile website31 as well as information available from published literature sources. 

Table 24.5 summarizes the cost information reported for 127 MTBE remediation technology applications. Only costs reported as total project costs are summarized in this table. Note that the paper [ 1 ] by I.M. Lifshitz forestalled the corresponding experiments by at least 10 or rather 20 years. It is very easy to create a daily record of conditions on scene in the tragedy known simply as GranitevillePeople in Graniteville and Aiken County were easy to talk to and provided much information, reports, photos, commentary, newspaper, and television news features, and sadness. Abstract This is a short review of how neuronal sensors fit in the broader biological context of animal survival. This may help those involved in the development of engineered sensors to put in perspective their task with what the evolutionary process has achieved. Most of the information reported here is available in the educational field of neuroscience, with mention of some recent relevant findings. I have attempted to place these findings in an evolutionary perspective as it clarifies better the intrinsic role of some of the extraordinary particularities of the biological solutions of neuronal sensors.

One particular area of this response is the management of information required by TSCA. Monsanto Company s C. Elmer and J.R. Condray itemized these requirements, and reviewed the status and implications of each. Some unanticipated benefits derived from the mandated burden were emphasized. EPA s requirements for information are not yet complete further growth is expected. While EPA s Chemical Substances Information Network (CSIN) is recognized as valid in concept, there is concern that its scope may be expanding that originally envisioned for information submitted to EPA under TSCA. In addition, attention must be given to the identification and maintenance of the reliability level of the information reported, stored and extracted for use under TSCA.
