Integrative surveillance

We propose two alternative mechanistic models for the temporal regulation of cellular responses to DNA damage. We describe them as the integrative surveillance (IS) and the autonomous pathway (AP) models (Fig. 3). These two hypothetical models represent two opposing philosophical views, but they may not be mutually exclusive.

However, radio usage shall not be allowed in areas where electronic interference with facility equipment may result. Areas where radio use is prohibited shall be posted. Consideration is to be given to dedicating certain radio channels to specific groups or functions (for example, a dedicated channel for security or a dedicated channel while performing integrated surveillance tests). 

Make maintenance planning more flexible, by providing, wherever possible, viable alternatives to unplanned shutdowns and to immediate component replace or repair actions. Increased flexibility of maintenance planning, by conditionally running under surveillance components with potential or incipient stmctural integrity problems, means improved plant availability, reduced energy replacement and maintenance costs. 

Existing respiratory protection or hearing conservation programs can be referenced and integrated, as appropriate, into the site-specific medical surveillance program after worksite hazards have been considered. At some sites, workers are provided a fitness-for-duty card indicating their current medical status and the medical surveillance programs in which they participate [1]. 

As a means of maintaining the integrity of its pipeline system, each operating company shall establish and implement procedures for continuing surveillance of its facilities. Studies shall be initiated and action shall be taken where unusual operating and maintenance conditions occur, such as failures, leakage history, drop in flow efficiency due to internal corrosion, or substantial changes in cathodic protection requirements. 

Fire prevention efforts for handling flammables and combustibles rely heavily on the mechanical integrity of the transfer system, the containment of small spills that do occur, and the control of ignition sources. While operator presence in the immediate area of the rack or wharf is recommended for any loading or unloading operation, full-time surveillance at the unloading spot is recommended. 

Integrated volumes of both oil and gas arc obtained from net-oil and gas-flow analog computer measurements. Saltwater measurements are obtained from digital signals generated by turbine meters. Notable changes in metered volumes are output by the I/O system for surveillance of possible meter upsets.
