Integrative performance

The relative susceptibHity of several commercial aHoys is presented in Table 8. The index used is a relative rating based on integrating performance in various environments. These environments include the harsh condition of exposure to moist ammonia, Hght-to-moderate industrial atmospheres, marine atmosphere, and an accelerated test in Mattsson s solution. The latter testing is described in ASTM G30 and G37 (35,36) and is intended to simulate industrial atmospheres. The index is linear. A rating of 1000 relates to the most susceptible and zero designates immunity to stress corrosion. [Pg.226]

To solve Eqs. (88)-(91) we use the same numerical method as in the previous section. At a given point zq for which both ctq = cr(zo) and Hq = A(zo) re very weak, the profiles are determined in the region z > zq from the linear theory. The values thus found at the point zq serve as the initial conditions for the numerical integration performed with the same solver as before. [Pg.836]

Time integral performance criteria (ISE, IAE, ITAE) Apply design relations derived from minimization of an error integral of the theoretical time-domain response. [Pg.123]

Power producers in general are unwilling or unable to guarantee integrated performance and risk large liquidated damages. [Pg.322]

Scheduled and controlled operant responses as learning and memory tests were examined with several pyrethroids, and the data showed that pyrethroids produced dose-related decreases of operant response rates [34-36]. However, interpretation of these data may be difficult due to their dependence upon the integrated performance of several neurobiological systems (e.g., motor coordination, sensory response, and crossmodal association) [21]. [Pg.88]

Planners, designers and operators have a tremendous task to find both nonstructural and technical sustainable solutions to the future development of sewer networks. It is the author s opinion that an extended integrated performance of the urban wastewater infrastructure — internally as well as with the surroundings — is fundamental for improved sustainability. The concept of the... [Pg.226]

Another situation which may lead to poor integrator performance is where peaks are tailing and thus have a high element of asymmetry. The expression used to assess this is ... [Pg.203]

The drawback of the ideal op-amp model is that none of the non-ideal properties are modeled. In this example, if a non-ideal op-amp model were used in the simulation, the integrator would not work because of bias currents. If this circuit were tested in the laboratory, it also would not work because of bias currents. Thus, the circuit simulation with a non-ideal op-amp matches the results in the lab, but the circuit simulation with an ideal op-amp does not match the lab results. For this example, the ideal model is not a good choice for simulation because it does not match the results in the lab. We will use it here for demonstration purposes only. See EXEHCI5E 6-15 to learn how this integrator performs using non-ideal op-amps. In general, you should always use the non-ideal op-amp models if possible. The only reason you should use the ideal op-amp model is if the circuit is too large for the Lite version of Capture. [Pg.374]

The quantities h, (p0 and /, v(/o constitute (to within a constant multiplier) two pairs of the canonically conjugate arbitrary constants. Therefore we may choose them as the phase variables while averaging over T in (27). We note that these quantities refer to a local phase space corresponding to any chosen direction of the symmetry axis. Hence, integration performed in the overall phase space dTls corresponding to an isotropic fluid should additionally include averaging over all possible inclinations 0 of the symmetry axis C to the a.c. field vector E. Thus,... [Pg.100]

OQ2 refers to the testing performed in an operational environment, usually the environment where the system will be used when operational, but before official release. The supplier/integrator performs this testing and it is witnessed by the company personnel, including QA. OQ2 is often referred to as a SAT. [Pg.73]

We found that an aspirant to top performance, whether in chemicals or other industries, must follow a balanced approach to the management of performance., i.e., what the organization needs to accomplish today, and health, or how it can improve or adjust its performance over time. Integrated performance and health management enables an organization to deliver value today while simultaneously... [Pg.315]

Level-at-a-time conversion. The third technique uses only one reference voltage but n steps to get the digitized result. The methods involved are usually based on counters and are of integrative performance. These types of AD converters use to be slow (typically 100 ms) but give very high resolution (up to 21 bit). Two types are discussed here. [Pg.170]

Offered constructive-technological variant allows creating PEMFC in monolithic integrated performance. [Pg.770]

A being a contour of integration encircling t and t" but no other transition point, with the integration performed in the direction that makes Kq positive when t and t" are real, i.e., when the barrier is superdense, but negative when t and t" are complex conjugate, i.e., when the barrier is underdense. [Pg.47]

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses of individual flow channels in a solid oxide electrolyzer cell are being used to model temperature, current density, and local hydrogen production. In 2004, the integrated performance of an HTE plant and the thermal optimisation of the plant through various component arrangements were modeled. In addition, solid oxide electrolyser cell electrode materials with improved durability in the variable environment of the electrolyser cell are currently being developed. [Pg.77]

Most integrators ini ( grate the results of technical activities in the development process, like PFDs and simulation models. Unlike that, the PFD-AHEAD integrator performs th( integration of a technical master document, the PFD, with the administrative configuration of the development process in the AHEAD system (cf. Sect. 3.1) Ix ing some organizational master document. [Pg.262]
