High quality control

In general, liposomes due to their physicochemical characteristics, may cause adverse effects i.e., blockage of capillaries, pulmonary embolism etc. The new technological knowledge and industrial improvements on liposomal production as well as the high quality control of the preparation procedure of the liposomal formulations can eliminate most of their undesired side effects. [Pg.195]

Recommended analysis and acceptance criteria apply to each sample concentration HQC = high-quality control sample LLOQ — lower limit of quantification sample LQC = low-quality control sample MQC — middle quality control sample ULOQ — upper limit of quantification sample) %CV — percent coefficient of variation %RE — percent relative error [4]... [Pg.97]

The linearity of the calibration curve was ascertained by adding known concentrations of manufactured lactose to cow milk over the concentration range of interest. Intraday precision was determined by analyzing 15 replicates of low- and high-quality control samples. Interday precision was determined by analyzing qnal-ity control samples over 15 consecutive days, and the coefficient of variation for lactose over two levels was calculated. The low limit of quantification was condncted by additional dilution until indication of peak-to-peak signal-to-noise ratio as 5 1 was achieved. To determine the recovery rate, lactose was added to cow milk samples. Absolute recovery was indicated by a ratio of the observed value to the corresponding expected value. [Pg.401]

Matrix Effect and Recovery For LC-MS/ MS-based methods, the signal suppression or enhancement of the analyte due to the presence of the matrix interferences (matrix effects) in MS/MS detection should be evaluated by comparing the response (peak area) of the analyte and the IS from the extracted blank samples post-fortified with the analyte and the IS with the response of neat solutions with both the analyte and the IS at the same concentrations as above. Matrix effects should be evaluated in one pooled batch of animal matrix or in at least three different batches of human matrix, using three replicates at a minimum of three QC concentrations (e.g., low quality control [LQC], medium quality control [MQC], high quality control [HQC]) with IS at working concentration. The coefficient of variation (CV%) of the matrix effect variability should be <15% at each concentration level and between the three (LQC, MQC, and HQC) concentration levels. [Pg.177]

Reactor module is a standard design and factory fabricated and assembled with high quality control. [Pg.567]

Baking in hydrogen and sample admission with a counter flow of inert gas is often required. Therefore, provisions for this are needed. Additionally, it is recommended that a high quality, controlled and monitored glove box be available for the sample admission side of the balance, since the state of the surface is very sensitive to gas contamination. [Pg.40]

The laminates are manufactured in plants under high-quality control standards, which improves the quality of the finished construction. [Pg.44]

During take-off and landing, the wheels of modem aircraft are subject to great stress. New high-performance brake systems and aggressive environmental influences push the wheels closer and closer to their limit. These conditions as well as increased requirements for safety and quality control now necessitate that wheels are tested much more comprehensively than in the past. [Pg.305]

During many years in Scientific Research Institutes of Nuclear Physics and Introscopy at Tomsk Polytechnical University (TPU) researches into induction electron accelerators and their uses for non-destructive radiation quality control of materials and articles have been conducted. Control sensitivity and efficiency detection experimental researches have been conducted with the high-current stereo-betatron modifications [1], and KBC-25 M and BC-50 high-current betatrons [2,3] in range of 11 MeV and 25-50 MeV radiation energy. [Pg.513]

WebLab Viewer gives a very-high-quality display suitable for publication and presentation. Molecules can be displayed as lines, sticks, ball and stick, CPK, and polyhedrons. In addition, different atoms within the same structure may be displayed in different ways. Text can be added to the display as well as labeling parts of the structure in a variety of ways. The user has control over colors, radii, and display quality. The program can also replicate a unit cell to display a crystal structure. Several types of molecular surfaces can be displayed. [Pg.352]

An important step in developing a standard method is to determine which factors have a pronounced effect on the quality of the analytical method s result. The procedure can then be written to specify the degree to which these factors must be controlled. A procedure that, when carefully followed, produces high-quality results in different laboratories is considered rugged. The method by which the critical factors are discovered is called ruggedness testing. ... [Pg.684]

Quality Control. The spectrometer is the most suitable instmment for determining most low level residual impurities. ASTM E414 is the standard method for the measurement of impurities in copper by the briquette dc-arc technique (65). In this method, the sample in the form of chips, drillings, or powder is briquetted and excited in a d-c arc opposite a high purity copper rod. Impurities in the ranges noted can be measured ... [Pg.211]

Sedimentation Tanks These tanks are an integral part of any activated-sludge system. It is essential to separate the suspended solids from the treated liquid if a high-quality effluent is to be produced. Circular sedimentation tanks with various types of hydraulic sludge collectors have become the standard secondary sedimentation system. Square tanks have been used with common-wall construc tion for compact design with multiple tanks. Most secondary sedimentation tanks use center-feed inlets and peripheral-weir outlets. Recently, efforts have been made to employ peripheral inlets with submerged-orifice flow controllers and either center-weir outlets or peripheral-weir outlets adjacent to the peripheral-inlet channel. [Pg.2221]

The method was validated in accordance to the guidelines of the international conference on harmonization (ICH). Data with respect to accuracy, within- and between run precision, recovery, detection and quantitation limits were reported and found to be within the accepted international criteria. Neither endogeneous substances nor the commonly used dmgs were found to interfere with the retention times of the analytes. Standard solutions of the dmg and quality control preparations at high and low level concentrations were demonstrated to be stable at room temperature and/or -20°C for long and short periods of time. [Pg.395]
