An interest cap therefore features multiple exercise dates. The holder can decide on each EURIBOR setting date whether or not to exercise the corresponding caplet. Contrast this with the bond and STIR options seen earlier, which have a single exercise date. 

In addition to the traditional European and American exercise styles, swaptions are also available Bermudan-style, which allows the owner to exercise the swaption on a set of prespecified dates. This style is in between American and European style, hence the use of the geographic epithet Bermudan. Such swaptions are often linked to bonds or swaps, with the permitted exercise dates matched to the coupon dates of the underlying instrument. 

With a variable swaption, the tenor of the underlying swap is fixed at the outset. If the swaption is exercisable into a 3-year swap, the owner will get a swap with a 3-year tenor dating from the exercise date. This means that the termination date of the underlying swap will depend upon when the swaption is exercised.

If at the end of the exercise the cheapest system is beyond the budget available then either the budget must be increased or changes in the initial protection will be required. Whenever possible, the level of surface preparation should not be lowered, since if at a later date more money is available the protective coating can be built up but the surface cannot be re-prepared. 

Issue of debentures. These will normally carry a fixed rate of interest and have a predetermined date of redemption, possibly at a premium. Hereditary deficiency of LDH-B was first reported by Kitamura et al. in 1970 (K21). Since then, this enzyme deficiency has been discovered in at least five families in Japan.
