HPRD is unique in that it assimilates diverse protein features such as PPIs, PTMs, subcellular localization, tissue expression, biological motifs, and domains derived from a variety of experimental platforms (Fig. 1). Thus HPRD can be used to perform complex queries involving multiple features of proteins. [Pg.69]

Table 1. Computed cohesive energies (PWB 88) and mobilities of low-energy isomers for Sin (n < 20) neutrals, cations, and anions vs. measured mobilities (in He at 298 K, Ref. [16,44]), and calculated binding energies for Si + vs. CID data (Ref. [20]). Global minima are in bold. Multiple features observed for Sin cations (n > 17) are ranked by decreasing abundance. Effective predictive maintenance programs incorporate multiple features. However, the key to rotating equipment predictive maintenance is a comprehensive vibration surveillance and analysis program. A change in a machines health or operation nearly always causes an easily detectable vibration change long before the machine fails. [Pg.206]

A Novel Method for Determining the Multiplicity Features of Multi-Reaction Systems... [Pg.65]

The qualitative multiplicity features of a lumped-parameter system in which several reactions occur simultaneously can be determined in a systematic fashion by finding the organizing singularities of the steady-state equation and its universal unfolding. To illustrate the technique we determine the maximal number of solutions of a CSTR in which N parallel, first-order reactions with equal and high activation energies occur as well as the influence of changes in the residence time on the number and type of solutions. [Pg.65]

We describe here a new technique based on the singularity and bifurcation theories for predicting the multiplicity features of lumped-parameter systems in which several reactions occur simultaneously. Our purpose is mainly to illustrate the power of the technique and present some novel results. A more detailed analysis is presented elsewhere [jL, 2]. [Pg.65]

We have used this technique to determine the qualitative features of several multi-reaction systems and the results will be reported elsewhere [1,2]. It is expected that this method will become the standard tool for predicting the qualitative multiplicity features of these systems. [Pg.73]

Single- and Multiple-Feature Criteria. Suitable criteria or indices of thermal stability should be uniquely and consistently available from the thermogram patterns for any of the materials to be analyzed. The values should not be unduly disturbed by features of the thermogram not related to thermal stability such as early moisture content loss. Criteria for stability may be conveniently divided into two groups, those in which a single feature is used and those in which cumulative data or multiple features are used. One of the difficulties of most single-feature... [Pg.384]
