Generally, fathers were considerably more likely than mothers to hold a college degree, an academic doctorate or a professional degree. Interviewees were somewhat more likely to know their mother s (98%) than father s (93%) educational attainment level. 

There is evidence that the health and financial externalities of vaccination even extend to the unborn. Eye-hand choice reaction time is tested as the speed to cancel by tapping a keypad, a 4 inch letter that appears on the screen of a laptop computer. Twenty trials repeated twice and the median time of last 7 trials in each run is recorded. It can be seen that it is difficult to make firm conclusions from studies of this nature. The methodological assumptions and control or matching procedures must be viewed with caution. Since 1990, the Human Development Index (HDI) has been published by the United Nations as an index to characterize the level of human development (purchasing power, life expectancy, literacy, educational attainment) as explained in Topic 5.1.1.
