The components assembled at Winterthur in 1970 to make up the energy dispersive x-ray fluorescence analyzer system employed in this study of trace elements in paper, documents, prints, and watercolor paintings were Kevex Series 3000P cryogenic system and detector (sample viewing diameter, 15 mm detector resolution, 170 eV at 5.9 keV...

A, B, D. You should go to Word and print a document, print a test page in Printer Properties, or wait until someone prints a document and complains. Printing diagnostics only tests whether the printer is able to print if it is connected to a device with the correct drivers.

The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) in Springfield, VA, indexes and catalogs research and other reports. Many agencies publish a listing or catalog of their own documents on the agencies web sites. The Superintendent of Documents prints and sells many government publications.

The QAP enables the user to have a consistent documentation of the variable parameters and inspection results (with camera system). A protocol can be printed out to be used as documentation for the equipment and inspection. 

Any quality or performance deviations of the equipment are printed out, the system allows fully automated operator free inspection and quality assurance documentation. 

To obtain more information on each reaction of the hit list, it is possible to browse through the hit list, classify it (sec Section 5.13.4), print it, and export all the references on the hit list or save the reactions in different file formats for documentation purposes. 

The program is used by first building the target molecule. It then generates a list of possible precursors. The user can choose which precursor to use and then obtain a list of precursors to it. The reaction name and conditions can also be displayed. Once a satisfactory synthesis route is found, it can be printed without all the other possible precursors included. The drawing mode worked well and the documentation was well written.

GORE. The CORE Electronic Chemistry Library is a joint project of Cornell University, OCLC (On-line Computer Library Center), Bell Communications Research (Bellcore), and the American Chemical Society. The CORE database will contain the full text of American Chemical Society Journals from 1980, associated information from Chemical Abstracts Service, and selected reference texts. It will provide machine-readable text that can be searched and displayed, graphical representations of equations and figures, and full-page document images. The project will examine the performance obtained by the use of a traditional printed index as compared with a hypertext system (SUPERBOOK) and a document retrieval system (Pixlook) (6,116). 

The principal use of CD-ROM and WORM disks is essentially substitution of data storage on paper or microfiche. Conservative estimates number the worldwide use for data storage by paper at 91%, microfiche at 4%, and in electronic media at 5%, of which 4% are magnetic and 1% optical media (18). CD-ROM is being used as an electronic counterpart to print media the WORM disk presents itself more and more as a substitute for paper to store archivable, forgery-proof documents. 

The printed pubHshed document which represents the patent rights granted by the Federal Government can be a complex Hterary work. There are specific and rigid legal requirements for the description, disclosure, and definiteness which support these affirmative rights and enable enforcement of those rights by the inventor or owner of the patent. The basis for this fiiU and complete disclosure of the invention in the patent is clearly articulated in the U.S. Constitution. 

Printed Patent Office Gazettes. The issuance of patents is announced by patent offices ia pubHcations typically known as ga2ettes and bulletins, which are pubHshed most commonly at the time of the patent s pubHcation, but there are exceptions. Advance information is pubHshed ia a patent ga2ette by some countries prior to the pubHcation of patent documents, typically as a notification of filing details. However, some patent ga2ettes do not appear until weU after the effective pubHcation date of the patents they announce. 

In its eadiest years, the printed ChemicalP hstracts provided lengthy abstracts that could often serve as surrogates for original documents. Derwent stiU does this in some instances, but CAS on the other hand strives to be a pointer to original documents. The volume of nonpatent and patent Hterature covered in CA dictates that complete abstracts are impractical, although CA indexing records can contain a wealth of detail not hinted at in abstracts.
