Content planning

One of the most important aspects to content marketing for successful lead generation is the planning process. The best way to start planning your content is to conduct your own discovery session. Ask yourself, your meirketingteam, your salespeople, and your customer service representatives the following questions  

What are the common concerns and pain points of your teirget audience  

What are the topics you could write about that would address those pain points  

Do you have any product/service offerings or announcements that you want to tie your content efforts to  

Where do you want your content to live In a content resource section On your website home page On your blog

Say you have a content plan that is tightly aligned with organizational objectives as well as industry trends and top keywords. Take a minute to sit down and take a few breaths. You have a good chunk of your foundation planning out of the way, and getting organized is half the battle. 

For example, in the case of light Arabian crude (Table 8.16), the sulfur content of the heavy gasoline, a potential feedstock for a catalytic reforming unit, is of 0.036 weight per cent while the maximum permissible sulfur content for maintaining catalyst service life is 1 ppm. It is therefore necessary to plan for a desulfurization pretreatment unit. Likewise, the sulfur content of the gas oil cut is 1.39% while the finished diesel motor fuel specification has been set for a maximum limit of 0.2% and 0.05% in 1996 (French specifications). 

Health and safety planning and implementation emphasize jobs and tasks. Many DOE or Army Corps of Engineers sites have an established work control system (WCS) that is focused at the job and task level. Workers are familiar with the WCS and understand its content because each work-task package includes checklists and permits. This is a normal part of daily work. The WCS is a practical vehicle for managing and conducting these activities and supports the HASP by providing a mechanism to accomplish the following ... 

The amount and type of hazards will determine the performance standard specified in site-specific control plans. This includes the content, detail, and formality of review. The approval of the plans is based on risk and hazard potential. Using the hazard-based approach, levels of risk or methods to rank risk (degree) are standardized. 

Containment design details - basic structure, major contents (beat structures), internal safety systems performance data, special features, reactor cavity/sump details, layout elevations and floor plans, fnateriais specifications, design limits, etc. 

Your procedures should detail your plant evaluation methods and require consideration to be given to the overall plan of the plant, automation, ergonomics, operator and line balance, inventory levels, and value added labor content. Reports of the evaluation should be required so that they facilitate analysis by management and auditors. 

Planning new documents, funding, prior authorization, establishing need, etc. Preparation of documents, who prepares, drafting process, text, diagrams, forms, etc. Standards for the format and content of documents, forms, and diagrams Document identification conventions Issue notation, draft issues, post approval issues... 

The production plan referred to previously is a work instruction, as it instructs those to whom it applies to carry out certain tasks. Control procedures may include assembly procedures, plating procedures, painting procedures, maintenance procedures, etc. and differ from process specifications (see later) in that the process specification defines the results to be achieved in operating a process rather than how to run the process. In addition to the list of contents provided in ISO/TS 16949 clause 4.9.2, the documentation should define ... 

The plan you develop for implementing PSM will outline your approach to addressing the needs you have identified within your company. While the appearance of the written plan itself can take any of a num r of forms, the content should focus on ... 

Once you have developed the program plan and schedule, and estimated resource requirements, you should organize this information in a manageable form for presentation to your PSM sponsor. If you have kept management informed about your progress you should have a clear idea of what is expected in terms of form, content, and level of detail. A sample table of contents for a project plan appears as Figure 5-12, and Figures 5-13 and 5.14 provide additional detail on selected portions of the plan.

What we have learned. Discussion of variances (positive and negative) from plans. Detailed report on PSM pilot test strengths, weaknesses, implications, how the PSM system has been refined based on experience. (Note be prepared to justify any increase in resource requirements or any significant slippage in timetable.) Include discussion of local feedback— mechanisms and content—and acknowledge the contribution and cooperation of facility management and staff. 

If you do not have corporate practices, you will certainly have corporate experience which should be reviewed. Experience with quality projects will be the most relevant. In some instances, formal postproject reviews will have been conducted and these reports will provide valuable insight for the development of your project. In the absence of such reports, you should arrange to spend some time reviewing previous projects with managers and staff who were involved. Two samples of a table of contents for a project descrip-tion/plan are given in Attachment 4.1. 

Once all the detailed inputs for the plan are developed, the team can update and elaborate on the formal plan presentation. The introduction to this chapter provided a complete list of the required content of the plan and some thoughts on how to develop it in more detail. One aspect not covered is integration into business plans for each business unit.

By 1999, General Motors, Daimler-Clirysler, Toyota, and Nissan all had demonstration fuel cell vehicles operating on niethanol, with plans to start introducing vehicles into the market by 2005. Auto makers have shown a preference for methanol over gasoline primarily because of the likelihood of the sulfur content in gasoline poisoning some of the catalysts used in the fuel cell. 

The list is not exhaustive, but it will be apparent that the submissions content implies that any decision will be subjective. Knowledge of the current planning policy of the local or national government is therefore advisable. 

The format of the cost estimate is just as important as the content The format can make a difference when proving whether or not the content is accurate. Therefore, the refiner should require that the cont tor present cost estimates in a format that is easy to understand and analyze. In addition, the refiner s cost engineer should independently review the cost estimate to ensure its accuracy and applicability, and also to determine the conting y amounts that the owner should maintain in his funding plans. 

The effective control of corrosion reactions must be based on an understanding of the mechanism of such reactions and on the application of this knowledge to practical problems. The work, regarded as a whole, represents an attempt, therefore, to present the subject of corrosion as a synthesis of corrosion science and corrosion engineering. Thus in the planning of the content an attempt has been made to strike a suitable balance between the primarily scientific and the primarily practical aspects, and so the nature of individual sections ranges from the fundamental and theoretical to the essentially practical.
