Container Specification

In choosing a container, one must be aware of agency requirements (such as those of DOT in CFR Titles 21 and 49) and of other requirements specific to the contents. Most container manufacturers can help to answer the following questions  

A Special liner will often be used to protect the container from corrosion or the stored material from contamination. However, the liner itself must not contaminate or react with the material being stored. The possible effects of liner failure must be considered

The integrity of welded stmctures depends on the integrity of the welds, and much attention is given to testing methods, such as destmctive tests, nondestmctive tests, and general weld inspection. Proteins are usually separated into two distinct functional classes passive structural materials, which are built up from long fibers, and active components of cellular machinery in which the protein chains are arranged in small compact domains, as we have discussed in earlier chapters. In spite of their differences in structure and function, both these classes of proteins contain a helices and/or p sheets separated by regions of irregular structure.
