The shipping regulations are broken down into different specifications for different types of containers (e.g., rubber drums, cylinders, metal barrels, wooden barrels, and so on). Specified DOT markings are designated for each type of container. [Pg.323]

Tank builders are responsible for marking ranks with DOT specifications are required under Part 179.
