The Supplement B (reference) contains a description of the process to render an automatic construction of mathematical models with the application of electronic computer. The research work of the Institute of the applied mathematics of The Academy of Sciences ( Ukraine) was assumed as a basis for the Supplement. The prepared mathematical model provides the possibility to spare strength and to save money, usually spent for the development of the mathematical models of each separate enterprise. The model provides the possibility to execute the works standard forms and records for the non-destructive inspection in complete correspondence with the requirements of the Standard.

Acryhc and modacryhc fibers are sold mainly as staple and tow products with small amounts of continuous filament fiber sold in Europe and Japan. The oleoresins are available in various standardized forms in which 1 kg of oleoresin is equal to 10—30 kg of paprika. Paprika oleoresins are typically standardized by dilution with vegetable oil or mono- or diglycerides. 

The type of cui ve determined by a specific equation of the second degree can also be easily determined by reducing it to a standard form by translation and/or rotation. In the case in which the equation has no xy term, the procedure is merely to complete the squares of the terms in X and y separately. 

Current designs for venturi scrubbers generally use the vertical downflow of gas through the venturi contactor and incorporate three features (I) a wet-approach or flooded-waU entry sec tion, to avoid dust buildup at a wet-dry pmction (2) an adjustable throat for the venturi (or orifice), to provide for adjustment of the pressure drop and (3) a flooded elbow located below the venturi and ahead of the entrainment separator, to reduce wear by abrasive particles. The venturi throat is sometimes fitted with a refractoiy fining to resist abrasion by dust particles. The entrainment separator is commonly, but not invariably, of the cyclone type. An example of the standard form of venturi scrubber is shown in Fig. 17-48. The wet-approach entiy section has made practical the recirculation of slurries. Various forms of adjustable throats, which may be under manual or automatic control. 

If a standard form was used in the qualification phase, a system should exist to rank the respondents that are being considered. Such a system can be as simple as the reviewers making a written recommendation summarizing the strong points of their selections. Some companies have developed forms that allow the final scores to be quantified. Appendix C, Sample Toller Assessment—Qjiantitative Format contains such an example. With either method, the client should consider having two or more reviewers discuss the candidates and agree on the recommended finalists. 

The formal structure of (5.77) suggests that the reaction coordinate Q can be combined with the bath coordinates to form a new fictitious bath , so that the Hamiltonian takes the standard form of dissipative TLS (5.55). Suppose that the original spectrum of the bath is ohmic, with friction coefficient q. Then diagonalization of the total system (Q, qj ) gives the new effective spectral density [Garg et al. 1985]... 

For sampling a relatively small number of sources, a simplified calculation form may be used. Such forms enable the office personnel to perform the arithmetic necessary to arrive at the answers, freeing the technical staff for proposals, tests, and reports. Many of the manufacturers of source-testing equipment include example calculation forms as part of their operating manuals. Some standard sampling methods include calculation forms as a part of the method (8). Many control agencies have developed standard forms for their own use and will supply copies on request. 

Every company should develop a standard form for their economic calculations, with a place for everything and everything in its place. As management becomes familiar with the form, it is easier to evaluate projects and choose among several based on their merits, rather than the presentation.

Written Standards. Many existing programs may have been developed informally without written standards or expectations. A Quality Management approach requires that such standards be proposed, approved, and adopted. These standards form the basis for any program, they outline the objectives and they should be based on customer needs.
