A complete solution is not as simple, as any participant in a collaborative session is basically a loosely coupled system over a shared space, and conflicts might arise when two or more user.s try to manipulate the. same object. In order so solve this, additional locking conflict solving strategies are needed, but are beyond the scope of this article. 

In order to solve this problem, we developed an algorithm for the automatic conflict solving. This algorithm provides the user with several conflict solving alternatives. It returns a list of constraints that can be relaxed in order to obtain a consistent system, sorted by the values of a cost function. The algorithm may also be optimized by different factors. The full algorithm is presented the appendix of (Tudo-rache 2006b). 

Of special importance is the reduction of the consumption of oil and petroleum products. The fluctuation of prices in these products constitutes one of the stabilizing factors in the world economy and could lead to serious conflicts. Direct savings of oilfuel by way of improving oil-consuming devices and the replacements of this fuel with appropriate alternatives present one of the major problems to be solved in the nearfuture. 

If no conflict free shortest path can be found, the conflict resolution tries to solve the conflict by waiting, speed reduction or evasion of the currently considered AGV. The applied priority rule is a First-Come-First-Serve heuristic. By using a FCFS-priority rule, paths that were once scheduled stay conflict free in the future [6, 7]. If the detected conflict can be solved, the resulting path is again analyzed for conflicts because new conflicts can emerge from the resolution of an earlier conflict. 

The use of this extended planning model will only be problematic if extra reference points, e.g., initial tank storage levels, have to be considered. This may lead to overdetermination of the model (i.e., conflicting level values for a given point in time) and it may be necessary to solve a data reconciliation problem. ...

The Dempser s rule of combination is often open to criticism since it entails two drawbacks. On the one hand, it has the effect of masking the aspect of conflict of the sources in question. Hence, there is a loss of information. On the other hand, when the conflict is great, renormalization may lead to counterintuitive results [20]. To solve this problem, several other combination rules have been defined and they often differ by the way the mass of evidence of an empty intersection is allocated.
