The data in this paper show the total number of coal mine accidents happening in China from January 2006 to December 2010. (The data are from The report of national coal mine accidents analysis in 2010 published by the Department of Accident Investigation at State Administration of Coal Mine Safety). The data processed to model are from January 2006 to December 2009, and the data of 2010 aim to be compared with the forecasted data, see table 1. 

In The Safety Regulations for Coal Mine it is explicitly stipulated that the air temperature should be no higher than 2(fC in mining face or 30°C in electromechanical chamber. Mining must be stopped if the air temperature respectively exceeds 30°C and 34"C in the above-mentioned two places (The State Bureau of Safe Production Supervision and Administration State Administration of Coal Mine Safety 2011).

Data from State Administration of Work Safety of China showed that 779 accidents occurred in coal mines across the country in 2012, and caused 1,384 people s death and amazing property losses. According to incomplete statistics, people killed directly by explosion, collapse, shock and other injuries in coal mine accidents only accounted for 10 percent of the total casualties, while 90 percent of them died due to oxygen depletion, toxic and harmful gases with high concentrations, escape routes which couldn t lead to a safe area (Xinda Zhao et al. 2012).
