Sessions Cases

For the doctrine of precedent to operate there must be reliable law reporting. Important judgements are published in the Weekly Law Reports (WLR), some of which are selected for the Law Reports. Another important series is the All England Reports (All ER). Important Scottish cases are reported in Sessions Cases (SC) and Scots Law Times (SLT). In N. Ireland the two main series of law reports are the Northern Ireland Law Reports (Nl) and the Northern Ireland Judgements Bulletin (N.I.J.B.), sometimes called the Bluebook. There are various specialist law reports, to which reference may be made when considering safety cases. A list of their abbreviations is published in the January edition of Current Law which also summarises current developments and current accident awards. 

As you will remember from our conclusions in Chapter 3, virtually all companies that contributed case studies to our book incorporated expectation management into their training sessions. If you want to ensure that your program nms as planned, then keeping with this tradition is of great importance. It is also vital to have sufficient time in the training program for this issue. 

When the usual staff meeting following the afternoon session was over, Minskoff and I went to the Grand Hotel. Only an hour before, we d heard that Jan Charmatz would be in the hospital until the end of the case. 

To simplify this specification, we introduce a new term. The precondition refers to a set of sessions that need an instructor for a particular range of dates—in this case, the dates of the session being canceled. Why not introduce a parameterized attribute alter-nateSessions(dates) and simplify the operation spec ... 

Use other sessions to examine the courtyard and the land that lies immediately beyond. Take the journey over the bridge to the edge of the forest. Familiarize yourself with it all—it is your inner kingdom get to know it. Record the details in your journal. And be sure to manifest the castle in some way. Draw or paint it make it in plasticine or clay perhaps create a computer graphic image (be sure you print it out so that it is earthed ). Until some form of manifestation is made, elements of the subconsciousness will not believe in your image. If that is the case, it is all pointless. 

Subsequently, we arranged to have him visit our laboratories in the Chemistry Department at McGill (how simple and unsophisticated were our methods and equipment then ). Suffice it to say that we had a stimulating session with him, discussing our research on emulsion polymerization and obtaining many valuable suggestions for future work. His special contribution then, as is the case even now, was that he was aware of the wide spectrum of polymer research which was being carried out in all parts of the world, and could immediately refer you to the literature or to people who could answer your questions. 

The joint session of both groups discussed the use of instrumental methods for evaluating odours, it was agreed that these methods could have advantages in terms of cost and labour input. In some cases identification of the odorous compounds was necessary to ensure that the correct treatment system is used. Cross reference to olfactometric measurements is necessary to ensure a good correlationship between the instrumental results, offensiveness ratings and odour concentration by panels. 

Several case studies are presented in the next sections that show some common root causes of contamination in injection-molded parts. In these case studies, the problem is presented in a manner that the troubleshooter would encounter during a trial or information-gathering session. In each case study, the modifications required to fix the process are detailed along with supporting fundamental information. Two of the case studies used (ET) screws to eliminate the defects. ET screws and other high-performance screws will be discussed in Chapter 14. 

One-electron oxidation of l,6-diazabicyclo[4.4.4]tetradecane proceeds at a remarkably low rate. The cation-radical obtained contains a three-electron o bond between the two nitrogen atoms (Alder and Sessions 1979). In this case, the three-electron bond links the two nitrogens that are disjoined in the initial neutral molecule, at the expense of one electron from the lone electron pair of the first nitrogen and the two electrons of the second nitrogen, which lasts as if it is unchangeable. The authors named such a phenomenon as strong inward pyramidalization of the nitrogens with remarkable flexibility for the N—N interaction. This interaction results in 2a-la bond formation (Scheme 3.21).
