Records of Tests

Records of Tests. Either of two methods may be used for recording routine test results. In the first, measurements and calculations are recorded in the individual worker s notebook and then transferred to the main record book. In the second method, a separate work book is kept for each routinely performed test. Whoever does the testing enters the results in the book and initials it. The pages should be lined with columns to suit each test s requirements. [Pg.123]

By reviewing the main record book (referred to in one laboratory as the Good Book ) at least once a day, a laboratory manager can keep track of how work progresses. [Pg.123]

The most common duties performed by an industrial laboratory are testing of raw materials and testing of finished products. [Pg.123]

Many laboratories find it practical to keep separate records for these, which means that the sample numbering system for raw materials must be different from that used for finished products. Other laboratories lump everything together for the purpose of record keeping but have separate storage areas for the two types of samples. [Pg.124]

Test blood for glucose and urine for ketones as directed by the health care provider. Keep a record of test results and bring this record to each visit to the health care provider or clinic. [Pg.507]

Thus the computation record of a computation contains the successive listings of the values of the variables - it is the listing of computation states minus the name of the instruction executed at tine i. The test added computation record contains this list of values plus the formal record of tests applied. If test T is applied at step i to, say, values 1 and 5, the test added computation record contains for step i the formal statement "T(l,5)", identifying the particular test applied and the values to which it is applied. The computation record or test added computation record relative to some subset of variables considers only values of those variables and tests applied to those variables. It is useful when comparing programs with different program variables but the same input and output variables. [Pg.88]

For all generators, copies of all manifests and any records of tests and analyses carried out on the hazardous waste must be kept for at least three years, and for the duration of any enforcement action. [Pg.98]

Knapp also sought to deduce the maximum concentration C/(max) of 131I in milk resulting from the fallout, using records of tests in the 1960s where gamma dose and C/ were both measured, Garner s (1960) data on transfer from cattle feed to milk, and Booker s (1958) measurements after the Windscale accident. [Pg.145]

This system includes a computer with interface for electronic scale or balance for direct data collection. Any electronic balance with RS-232 interface can be connected to the system. A record of test data is produced by color plotter. Fifteen sieves and pan can be handled. [Pg.241]

The average concrete strength for which a concrete mix must be designed should exceed f by an amount which depends on the uniformity of plant production and its prior documented record of test results. [Pg.100]

Qualification is the planning, carrying out and recording of tests on equipment and a system, which forms part of the validated process, to demonstrate that it will perform as intended. [Pg.51]

This trend toward increases in automation has a number of collateral effects. In laboratories in which protocols are standardized automated systems can increase accuracy, decrease personnel costs, and enhance quality control (QC). Computerized systems are generally immune from the small slippages of attention and care that result in minor but sometimes cascading human errors through the boredom of repetitive tasks. On the other hand, computers are prone to much more spectacular errors—for example, to one-ofif recording of test results from a long line of samples. But while these errors are dramatic in scope, with effective QC efforts they are generally detectable and hence correctable. The insidious minor corruptions produced by humans are much more likely to continue undetected. [Pg.261]

The decision to approve a lot must be based not only on the Lot Production Record and the record of tests, but, where applicable, also on the results of controls of the working environment, intermediates and the equipment utilized. [Pg.522]

Change control of the ERP hardware, software and associated documentation (SOPs and operating manuals) is necessary and requires that changes be recorded, specified and assessed for GxP impact. Changes are to be approved by qualified personnel and tested, with records of testing retained. [Pg.247]

Waste generators must document the hazardous waste determination process and keep records of test results, waste analysis, and other aspects of their decisions. [Pg.388]

Each capsule assembly is made up of two Charpy, flux, compact tension compartment assemblies and one temperature, flux, tensile, Charpy compartment assembly. Each capsule compartment is assigned a unique identification so that a complete record of test specimen and flux/temperature monitor (tensile-monitor) compartment. Each capsule compartment is assigned a unique identification so that a complete record of test specimen location within each compartment can be maintained. [Pg.95]

General Testing documentation Records of test completion dates (as-found/as-left) should be kept for the current and preceding test (at least one year). The identity of the person conducting the test and any unsatisfactory performance of the instrument is recorded.
