COMPARE program

Thus the computation record of a computation contains the successive listings of the values of the variables - it is the listing of computation states minus the name of the instruction executed at tine i. The test added computation record contains this list of values plus the formal record of tests applied. If test T is applied at step i to, say, values 1 and 5, the test added computation record contains for step i the formal statement "T(l,5)", identifying the particular test applied and the values to which it is applied. The computation record or test added computation record relative to some subset of variables considers only values of those variables and tests applied to those variables. It is useful when comparing programs with different program variables but the same input and output variables. [Pg.88]

Table II presents a specimen program of the full-time M.S. degree in forensic chemistry at Northeastern which requires 1-1/4 years for completion. Part-time students take a comparable program however, a slower pace is typically selected, with 2-1/4 to 3-1/4 years required for completion. The program is primarily designed to offer a terminal degree for students seeking immediate forensic laboratory employment and secondarily to serve as a source of qualified applicants for a Ph.D. degree in forensic chemistry (see later). While it is not possible to discuss in depth all the courses, it is appropriate to overview the program. (Further details can be obtained by writing to Dr. B.L. Karger or J. M. Parker.)... Comparability Program Fortical and Miacalcin NS differed in certain aspects, such as the use of recombinant versus synthetic salmon calcitonin and the use of different types and amounts of excipients. Given these differences, Unigene was required to submit data to establish that the findings of safety and efficacy for Miacalcin were relevant to Fortical (i.e., contain the same active ingredient and have comparable bioavailability) and that the formulation differences did not impact previous clinical profile [26,27],... [Pg.52]

Comparability Program As with the Fortical case study, Omnitrope and Genotropin differed in certain aspects. As such, Sandoz was required to submit substantial data to establish that Omnitrope was sufficiently similar to Genotropin to warrant reliance on FDA s finding of safety and effectiveness for Genotropin to support the approval of Omnitrope [18]. [Pg.53]

Research Council of Canada. As well the authors thank Mr. L. Corey and Ms. Sharon Cyprik for development of the ENZYME and COMPARE programs and Clint Surry and Dr. Ali Mohammed for help in preparation of the manuscript. M.A. sincerely thanks Professor H. Krieger for his support and encouragement of her studies in Canada. [Pg.541]

NOTE The cost-effectiveness of poverty reduction estimated in the table are purely static and thus inappropriate for comparing programs with different expected future returns, for example, education-related programs versus cash transfers. [Pg.390]

In this paper the process interaction approach is followed. The process interaction approach is preferred as it describes the entire experience of a process entity and requires fewer lines of code than a comparable program using event scheduling approach. [Pg.28]
