Walter W. Focke, PhD, is a full professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Institute of Applied Materials at University of Pretoria in South Africa. A registered professional engineer and a member of the American Chemical Society, the Polymer Processing Society, the International Pyrotechnics Society, and the South African Institute of Chemical Engineers, Professor Focke has published more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His current Scopus h-Index is 8. and his publications listed in Scopus have been cited more than 1200 times. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Vinyl and Additive Technology, the International Journal of Adhesion Adhesives, and the International Polymer Processing.

Sabu Thomas, PhD, is the Director of the School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, India. He is also a professor of polymer science and engineering and the Honorary Director of the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the same university. He is a fellow of many professional bodies. Professor Thomas has authored or co-authored many papers in international peer-reviewed journals in the area of polymer processing. He has organized several international conferences and has more than 420 publications, 11 books, and two patents to his credit. He is a reviewer to many international journals and has received many awards for his excellent work in polymer processing. His h Index is 42. It is more relevant to the building and architectural professions than T1 (below), which provides more information of relevance to engineers. The Index, like Tl, has developed from a microfiche-based product library.

The (NCUACS) was established in 1973 to locate, sort, index, and catalogue the manuscript papers of distinguished contemporary British scientists and engineers.
