The second parameter, i.e. the tube current, should be selected as high as possible without exceeding the allowable power rating of either the tube or generator, since the intensity of the characteristic radiation in the incident beam is proportional to the tube current. The microwave moisture analyzer allows one to dry a sample by two modes. Mode 1 dries a sample at a specific power setting for a given time period.
