A sponsor of a medical product entering the development phase must have a clinical development plan, which is created by experienced executives and consultants having expertise and experience in the disease state for which the product is intended. Once the plan is created, with appropriate input from regulators, the plan drives a clinical development budget, with consideration of the desired timeframe for projected producf approval. In the Future 500 stakeholder engagement schema, the corporate or shareholder stakeholder terrain is at the center of the sphere. The Health and Safety Executive recommend that employers should devise their own policy statement in cooperation with school management teams and other employees. An adopted policy, for example, Be Safe (ASE, 1990) in science or Safe Practice in Physical Education (BAALPE, 1996), might not reflect the individual circumstances of each school.
