Using a Quality Management approach ensures a deliberate effort to identify all customers and discover their expectations. Written Standards. Many existing programs may have been developed informally without written standards or expectations. A Quality Management approach requires that such standards be proposed, approved, and adopted. These standards form the basis for any program, they outline the objectives and they should be based on customer needs.
