The early investigators did not attempt more than minimal statistical analysis. Respondents showing a low attention level during the interview (subjectively valuated by interviewer) have also been excluded. It has to be pointed out that the refusal to answer rate decreases as the attention level increases. More generally, the number of observations varies among the different analyses carried out, cases with missing data in the considered variables being excluded. 

And then of course the interviews, as you know, inform the direction of your research. All that material got transcribed. 1 would start sticking pieces of transcript into my drafts while the editor was also starting to do his assemblies. We would all get together, and he would show us what he had assembled, and I would distribute my script, and then we would argue about it, and then Bruce would occasionally take some of what I d written and try to make it work. And then we would say, "What are we missing Do we need another interview here " A lot of times, the interview subjects would mention resources that we didn t know about or hadn t heard about. So we would then go back into research, or we would get more films in, or we would research another person to interview. 

The use of wireless computer systems has gain popularity in data collection for clinical trials. They have been used as a substitute for normal paper-based patient diaries (Koop et al. [19]) to increase data quality and shorten the time needed to close the database. They have also been used for mobile interviewing [20] and for bedside data collection [21]. Closely related to an ability to analyze and to understand people is an instinctively curious mind. Both facilitate investigation and revelation of facts—an important function of any lawyer, which like other aspects increases in importance with increasing complexity of subject matter. Chemists inherently tend to be inquisitive. This trait will help the chemist-tumed-lawyer during interviewing of witnesses, examining of witnesses by oral depositions, or in open court. When cross-examining witnesses, he will follow the witness s mental processes, learn what he may be holding back, and perhaps extract testimony that will be helpful to the lawyers case.
