The Concise International Chemical Assessment Documents (CICADs) (see Figure 2.3) are similar to the EHC documents in providing internationally accepted reviews on the effects on human health and the environment of chemicals or combinations of chemicals. The primary resin of interest is epoxy. Carbon-fiber-epoxy composites represent about 90% of CFRP production.
