Records, inspection

Availability of a representative set of data examples. Such a set may significantly simplify construction of any automatic interpretation system. The example data is usually obtained from calibration pieces, however, they usually represent only the most common defects and are usually expensive to manufacture. Recently more and more data is stored as digital inspection records, unfortunately the stored data is rarely fully classified, as this would increase the cost of inspection (usually only the serious defects are given full description in the reports). [Pg.98]

The research [5] showed the inspection records fulfilled by different instruments are very close each other. Nevertheless some of the instruments are able to put an information out to a computer, main inspection records usually are performed as chart diagrams of the LMA and LF channels. [Pg.335]

Accepts data on one or more manufacturing and storage facilities Locations activities and inspection records. [Pg.272]

ECOlOOl was implemented in the design of KL7009 to raise its status from revision 2 to revision 3 when the next batch of product was built. In addition to this record you will need inspection records that denote the configuration of the build. [Pg.298]

Small and fragile products should be held in containers and the container sealed and marked with the inspection status. Large products should either carry a label or have a related inspection record. [Pg.429]

You may only need one procedure that covers all the requirements but this is not always practical. The provisions you make for specific quality records should be included in the procedures for controlling the activity being recorded. For example, provisions for inspection records should be included in the inspection procedures, provisions for design review records should be included in the design review procedure. Within such procedures you should provide the forms (or content requirements for the records), the identification, collection/submission provisions, the indexing and filing provisions. It may be more practical to cover the storage, disposal, and retention provisions in separate procedures because they may not be type-dependent. Where each department retains its own records, these provisions may vary and therefore warrant separate procedures. [Pg.503]

The information to be recorded in QAU inspection records is straightforward, as is the requirement for the QAU to immediately report significant problems to management and the study director. [Pg.64]

Purpose All apparatus or vehicles assigned to companies must be inspected on a daily basis and the results of that inspection recorded and reported to vehicle maintenance. [Pg.280]

Collect a representative sample per the single sampling plan (general level B) and inspect. Record the observation in the attached format. Following is the sampling plan. [Pg.726]

Inspection records] are maintained in order to provide evidence that the product has passed an inspection and/or test with defined acceptance criteria. [Pg.168]

The inspection and test status of the product is identified by markings, authorized tags, labels, routing cards, inspection records, test software, and physical location, which indicate the conformance or nonconformance of the product with regard to inspection and tests performed. [Pg.171]

The inspection and test status of products is identified by using markings, authorized stamps, tags, labels, routing cards, inspection records, test software, physical location, or other suitable means to indicate the conformance or nonconformance of the product with regard to inspection and tests performed. The identification of inspection and test status is maintained, as necessary, throughout production and installation of the product to ensure that only product that has passed the required inspections and tests is dispatched, used, or installed. [Pg.293]

In addition to the roving inspection, a finished piece inspection is performed each half hr that is, the inspector randomly selects for examination one finished unit from the end of the line. In our example, the finished unit is a unitized bundle of 12 bottles of 100 tablets each. Each finished piece is tom down into its component parts, which are examined for specific attributes and conformance to the work order. Table 12 summarizes the tests made by the inspector, as well as the number of pieces examined at each half-hr interval. When nonconformance is detected, a notation is made in the inspection record. With 13 finished product audits performed on each shift, a considerable pool of information is readily amassed. [Pg.118]

To control the manufacturing procedure adequately and to confirm the specifications of the in-process product or the final product, the manufacturing machines and measurement equipment shall be maintained to work accurately and consistently. Since accurate inspection ensures the results of test items measured by the intended equipment, the method for inspection shall always be carried out in the same manner. To ensure consistent inspection, the documented procedure shall be maintained, both with accurate inspection records and verification of the records. (See Table 4.)... [Pg.234]

Figure 1 attempts to define the key stages in the development of corrosion models. Irrespective of whether the key concern is safety or operating efficiency, the steps involved in model development are common up to the point where data reliability must be accounted for (stage 8). At this juncture, the approaches deviate. When public/personnel safety is the key issue, one would adopt conservative assumptions (stage 9A) to cover the uncertainties that will inevitably permeate one s model. If plant efficiency is the key issue, then at this juncture it is necessary to refine one s data input by a combination of further experimentation and the careful consideration of information from plant inspection records (stage 9B). [Pg.206]

When the plate has dried, scrape off all the colored bands above the Brilliant Blue, which remains close to the origin, into a 30-mL beaker. Extract the subsidiary colors with three 6-mL portions of 95% ethanol, or until no color remains on the gel by visual inspection. Record the volume of ethanol used and the spectrum of the solution between 400 and 700 nm. Calculate the percent of subsidiary colors by the formula... [Pg.53]

The most common method of identifying and monitoring corrosion is visual inspection. Evidence of leakage, staining, or a change in surface appearance can be an indication that some type of corrosion is taking place. Experience with certain types of equipment and processes may help dictate inspection intervals and areas on which to focus the inspection. Records of vessel operation, maintenance, and repair can be helpful in establishing a pattern of performance that will improve predictability and minimize down time. [Pg.785]

All records must be kept for at least one year after the expiration date on the label of the drug with the exception of raw material and packaging/labelling materials testing which must be kept for five years. Internal audit and sanitation inspection records must be kept for three years. [Pg.102]

Ensure that employees are aware that all documents should be put away—an inspector sees a document lying on a desk, say, then he or she can include it in the inspection record. However, if the document is not open to view, the inspector has to formally request that he or she be provided with it. [Pg.480]
