Contractors and suppliers are managed to ensure that the products and/or services supplied on behalf of the organization are provided in a manner that is consistent with OE objectives, expectations, and standards. The various external services which are provided by contractors, suppliers and various commercial agents directly affect the organization s performance, ability to deliver on commitments, SHE goals, and reputation. Ensuring Quality of Service for external services is difficult or even impossible but necessary when they are used in conjunction with integrated tools.
