The resulting freqs data set contains the BY variable trt, a, b, and the cell frequency count and percentage percent variables. Row and column percentages can be added to the output data set by specifying the OUTPCT option. If you also want the totals row and column that you see in your PROC FREQ listing output, you can use ODS to export that to a data set called freqs ... 

PROC CDISC is a SAS procedure available as a hot fix for SAS 8.2 that ships as part of SAS 9.1.3. PROC CDISC allows you to export (and import) XML files that are compliant with the CDISC ODM version 1.2 schema. Here are a sample PROC CONTENTS and a sample PROC PRINT of a SDTM data set called DM (for demographics) that we will export to ODM using PROC CDISC.

In the future, it is expected that PROC CDISC will be able to export multiple SAS data sets to a single ODM XML file. An excellent way to export information from SAS to another SAS user is with PROC CPORT. PROC CPORT creates an operating system-independent SAS transport file that can hold data sets as well as SAS programs, permanent format catalogs, and other SAS catalogs. Note that PROC CPORT files are not backward compatible with older versions of SAS, so a transport file created by PROC CPORT in SAS 9 cannot be read by SAS 8. PROC EXPORT provides a quick way to create ASCII text files from SAS data sets. You can call PROC EXPORT by typing in the SAS code, or you can use the convenient SAS windowing environment Export Wizard that builds the PROC EXPORT code for you. Because the Microsoft Office suite is so widely used, it is sometimes necessary for you to export SAS data sets into Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel files. SAS provides the Export Wizard/PROC EXPORT and the SAS Enterprise Guide interface for exporting data directly to Microsoft Office files. 

To date, the Part II Programme has focused upon four major projects (1) The development and implementation of a set of Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP s) (2) Resolution of issues concerning Confidentiality of Data (3) Development of a Glossary of Key Terms and (4) Development of guidelines and other procedures for the exchange of information (e.g., re test data, the export of hazardous chemicals, and the labelling of hazardous chemicals). 

The data compiled and presented below concern primarily P. pouchetii due to the abundance of sediment trap and microscopy data from the northern region, which is dominated by this species (Table 1). Limited numbers of data sets are available from regions dominated by P. globosa and P. antarctica. We will focus on the vertical export below the flux attenuation... 

Few studies exist where mass fluxes of Phaeocystis cell carbon have been quantified along with POC export. We compiled the existing data sets to evaluate the contribution of Phaeocystis spp. cell carbon to vertical carbon flux. Phaeocystis pouchetii blooms are regularly observed in North Norwegian fjords (Heimdal 1974 Eilertsen et al. 1981 Riebesell et al. 1995 Reigstad et al. 2000 Wassmann et al. 2005). Due to the close vicinity of Tromsp, many years of observations from the water column as well as from sediment trap measurements (without fixatives) are available from these localities. 

For example, an extensive 9-year data set from ALOFLA indicates that the bulk dissolved matter N P ratio is variable. In the subtropical North Pacific Ocean, N2 fixation may supply up to half of the new N to sustain the rate of the annual particulate N export from the euphoric zone. A recent increase in this source of new N appears to have shifted the North Pacific subtropical gyre from N Hmitation to P hmitation (Karl et al., 1997). Hence in the ohgotrophic ocean, N2 fixation could lead to a decoupling of N and P pool dynamics and an alternation of N versus P control of primary production (Karl et al., 2001). Similarly but on a shorter time-frame, in the central Baltic Sea the development of N2-fixing cyanobacterial blooms can drive the system from N limitation to P hmitation between May to September (Nausch et al., 2004). 

Reservoir fluid compositions at each time step can be obtained for each reservoir in PetroMod. The reported fluid compositions were exported to PVTsim and the physical properties of the fluid calculated. The predicted physical properties were compared with those of the calibration data set and the individual compound kinetics of the multi-component kinetic model iteratively tuned until a good match was achieved (Fig. 4). Figure 6 and Table 4 show the tuned multi-component kinetic model for a marine Type II source rock developed by the method discussed previously. 

Therefore, a prototype of a digitized version of a thermodynamic sorption database has been implemented as a relational database with MS Access RES T -Rossendorf Expert System for Surface and Sorption Thermodynamics . It is mineral-specific and can therefore also be used for additive models of more complex solid phases such as rocks or soils. An integrated user interface helps users to access selected mineral and sorption data, to extract internally consistent data sets for sorption modelling, and to export them into formats suitable for other modelling software.
