Castle projected

Mt. Wilson Observatory. The UnISIS excimer laser system is deployed on the 2.5 m telescope at Mt. Wilson Observatory (Thompson and Castle, 1992). A schematic of the system layout is shown in Fig. 11. The30W, 351 nm excimer laser is located in the coude room. The laser has a 20 ns pulse length, with a repetition rate of 167 or 333 Hz. The laser light is projected from the 2.5 m mirror and focused at 18 km. A fast gating scheme isolates the focused waist. A NGS is needed to guide a tip-tilt mirror. Even with relatively poor seeing, UnISIS has been able to correct a star to the diffraction limit. [Pg.222]

The key to the whole method is the use of the projected castle. This ensures that the concentration of mental energies is focused on the etheric body, which has been built up by the involved visualization. This projected etheric vehicle, when withdrawn back into the physical at the end of the meditation practice, continues to work in a perfectly safe and self-regulated manner. [Pg.124]

The eidolon of the castle receives power. It is also thronged by all the presences and intelligences, including the masters and inner teachers. Remember, however, that, just as in Shakespeare s The Tempest, all the wonderful sights and scenes of the island were projections of the mage, Prospero, and of his spirit-servants, so too this castle is called forth by your creative activity and is a similar projection of yourself and your elemental spirit-servants who indwell the very cells of your physical body. [Pg.125]

Having thanked the Companions, rise from the table and return up to the Chamber of Indwelling. Remove the sandals and robe and project your consciousness back to its physical sheath. Draw the castle, by the table, back into latency. Perform the closing exercises and record your observations. [Pg.140]

Project into the Chamber of Indwelling. When you pass through the copper door, you discover that the whole castle is dark, silent, and deserted. [Pg.193]

The practice may be halted here. To do so, focus on the royal orb and you will find yourself standing before it, held in the Regent s hands within the Turret Room of the tower. Pass to the Chamber of Indwelling and, from there, to your physical body. Absorb the castle golem into latency. When you wish to continue this practice, project the castle, and then project your consciousness into it. Enter the Turret Room to stand before the Regent. See in the crystal orb within his hands the scene in the practice as you left it. See yourself in that scene, then mentally step into it and continue.]... [Pg.216]

As a consequence of this state of the art, the need and justification for establishing a conventional method for reproducible inertness testing of refill-bottle materials was identified in our laboratory a few years ago. In our opinion, a practical, cost-efficient and relatively quick standard test procedure which could also be used by surveillance labs was worth development. Within an European project (Castle 1997, Jetten et al. 1999), an investigation was undertaken to elucidate the feasibility of such a quick test method for refillable PET bottles, with respect to evaluating their inertness concerning the uptake and subsequent release of chemicals and sensory-active compounds. Before starting method development, the following considerations were made and... [Pg.350]

This craft builds a Glittering Sand Castle that sparkles in the sun and doesn t wash away after high tide. This is a project that will take some time to create, but anyone who can use glue can make a beautiful palace fit for a king or queen. [Pg.58]

They finally found peace and plenty at the Castle of Trebona in Bohemia as guests of Count Rosenberg, the Emperor s Viceroy in that country. During that time Kelly made projection of one minim on an ounce and a quarter of mercury and produced nearly an ounce of best gold, which gold was afterwards distributed from the crucible. [Pg.28]
