If you have installed MAPI (mail application interface) software on your PC, you may exploit the MS-WINDOWS mailslot-function to e-mail NMR data directly to and from your PC. The full version of ID-WIN-NMR allows you to export/irnport FlDs, spectra, tables, text-files, relaxation data and metafiles to/from other users of (the full version of) ID WIN-NMR. Both JCAMP-DX5 and Bruker specific binary format are supported. Compared to the procedure outlined in section 2.6.5 this is an even more convenient way for exporting/importing NMR data via Internet. For further details refer to the ID WIN-NMR manual [2.1] or contact your Bruker/Spectrospin representative. [Pg.32]

The NMR data will be converted and will automatically be saved in the WINNMR format as C DEM01D DAT ASP3000 HDIS 001001.FID, but may also be stored under another name using the Save as. .. option in the File pull-down menu. Make sure that the binary format has been selected in the dialog box appearing on the screen and click the OK button which will initialize the save operation. [Pg.39]

Using the Save as. .. option, store the data under the file name D NMRDATA 1D H GH 001001.1R. Check the various formats listed in the corresponding dialog box, select the binary format and hit the OK button to save the file. Use the Help information to familiarize with the Recall last function. [Pg.86]

The standard deviation of each scanner reading has been estimated to be 0. 7 when using a scale of 0-255 units, and the positional accuracy of the instrument is claimed to be 2pm. Data from the microdensitometer are stored in binary format on magnetic tape as an array, typical dimensions being 600 x 600. Prior to analysis the data are reconverted to integer format and copied into a random-access disc file. [Pg.116]

This produces a pharmacophore key or signature that provides a powerful measure for absolute diversity or similarity, calculable for both a ligand and a protein site, that has a consistent frame of reference for comparing any number of molecules and for comparing molecules to protein sites. Pharmacophore keys can be compared using logical operations (OR, AND, NOT) within Chem-X, and can be outputted in an ASCII or binary format, and analysed by other programs. [Pg.71]

Molecular fingerprints (FP) store the presence or absence of molecular fragments in a binary format. Because of the large number of fragments that are necessary to describe all molecules, the number of bits in the FP is very high (see Listing 1). [Pg.575]

In contrast to typical expert systems, ARC is written in C-h- and includes a rules base in binary format, which can be created with information from different file formats, such as MDL Molfile, Brookhaven Protein Database, Gasteiger Cleartext, JCAMP (DX, JDX, JCM, and CS), binary files (molecule sets, databases, code... [Pg.152]

Writing a binary set saves the entire data set in a native binary format. This allows for fast loading and searching in large molecule data, usually at a processing speed of more than 10,000 molecules per second. Descriptors are saved automatically with the molecules — that is, they do not have to be recalculated when the file is loaded again. [Pg.155]

Having the three-dimensional coordinates of atoms in the molecules, we can convert these into Cartesian RDF descriptors of 128 components (B = 100 A ). To simplify the descriptor we can exclude hydrogen atoms, which do not essentially contribute to the skeleton structure. Finally, a wavelet transform can be applied using a Daubechies wavelet with 20 filter coefficients (D20) to compress the descriptor. A low-pass filter on resolution level 1 results in vectors containing 64 components. These descriptors can be encoded in binary format to allow fast comparison during descriptor search. [Pg.182]

A low-pass filter on resolution level 1 is applied and the resulting vector containing 64 components is encoded in binary format. [Pg.182]

Supporting data formats for nontextual sections Additional proprietary or standardized open data formats that are required by the ELN for appropriate visualization of nontext data. Examples are Molhle format for structure display, JCAMP format for spectra and chromatograms, or native binary formats for representing sections in proprietary visual format. In contrast to attachments, these data formats are required by the ELN for the appropriate visualization of contents. [Pg.309]

Another interesting result recently was obtained by Jensen et al. (2000), Monin et al. (1998, 2002) and Maheswar et al. (2002). Jensen et al. investigated 18 T Tauri binaries with separations of about 1 and more and detected the linear polarization from both components in 16 of them. The analysis of the position angles of the observed polarization have shown that in approximately 70% of the wide (> 200 AU) binaries, the CS disks tend to be aligned. This result is similar to that obtained by Monin et al. (1998, 2002) and Maherswar et al. (2002) and is important for understanding the binary formation process. [Pg.321]

ASN.l is a binary format. NCBI utilizes a textual description of ASN.l that is both computer and human readable (to some extent), but that is not a standard type of ASN.l data format. This means ASN.l parsing libraries other than NCBTs may be unable to read it. The PubChem ASN.l text format does provide a relatively facile means for users to find pertinent information stored in the archive format by simple inspection. [Pg.232]

Save and read displays using its own binary format, retaining all program settings (except view direction and scale). [Pg.164]

In this paper, a software component is considered to be an entity that has a predefined and specified bormdary and which is atomic, in the sense that we do not have the option to split the component into sub-components. We make no special assumptions whether the component is available in binary format or as source code. The context we are interested in is essentially an Off-The-Shelf (OTS) situation where we have access to previously developed software (PDS) components which we want to combine, possibly in... [Pg.1273]

Originally, SRA file is based on a binary format, but it can be easily translated into. fastq file by SRA Toolkit. Fastq dump is a tool of NGBI SRA Toolkit that can dump and extract SRA data in. sra format from NCBI SRA into. fastq format. SRA. Toolkitis a freely available program, which can be downloaded from (http //eutils. ncbi.nih.gov/Traces/sra/ view=software) and installed in your Linux computer. [Pg.27]

DXF, developed by Autodesk, Inc. for AutoCAD software, is the de facto standard for exchanging CAD/CAM data on a PC-based system. Only 2-D drawing information can be converted into DXF, either in ASCII or in binary format. [Pg.371]
