Ancillary projects

These are sometimes also called "related projects," which makes for confusion. An ancillary project is something that you re developing to bolster your film s shelf life and reach. These might include web-based materials, radio broadcasts, material for educational outreach. 

The length of the instrument from the slit to the end of the plate holder is about 1.2 metres, and it is supported on a massive base which raises the optical parts about 30 cm above bench level. An optical bar of steel is attached to the base of the instrument, from which it projects about 90 cm it is parallel with the optical axis. The bar serves to carry lenses, an arc and spark stand (Gramont stand) for holding samples, and other ancillary equipment. 

In the discussion of process and equipment design given in the previous chapters no reference was made to the plant site. A suitable site must be found for a new project, and the site and equipment layout planned. Provision must be made for the ancillary buildings and services needed for plant operation and for the environmentally acceptable disposal of effluent. These subjects are discussed briefly in this chapter. 

The projected size of the installation is also encouraging Based upon cost estimates for MCFC facilities, including ancillary equipment, this installation is estimated at 5.1 MM, or about 10/kW (installed). This also compares favorably with present treatment techniques, which range from 100 to 250/kW. 

The picture of the packaged unit reminds us of the ancillary systems necessary to form a useful portable sensor. In this unit they project a 4-hour battery life with a lithium ion battery. They have a pumping system that supplies air at 1.5 L per minute. It also contains an analog-to-digital converter capable of 200,000 samples per second at 14 bits and a personal digital assistant for control and data analysis. 

Contaminant properties can also affect treatment costs. The type and amount of contaminants will impact the efficiency of any SVE technology. These impacts include the number of extraction wells, the power of the blower unit, and the length of operation required to achieve project goals. Contaminant properties will also impact the type of ancillary technology(ies) selected (D22449H, p. 4-4). 

Enter ancillary data Usually notebook information, chemical synthesis methods, the research project for which the compound is synthesized or purchased, and so on. These are alpha-numeric data and are easy to handle. 

Chemist enters ancillary data such as notebook info, research project info, formulation info, and distribution info. These data can be entered either manually or by applying a template. Chemist submits the compounds to register them. 

The last state of a compound in the compound registration context is Ready To Be Registered State. A compound is ready for registration when its structure passes chemistry convention rules and salts have been attached, and all required ancillary data, such as project and notebook information, have been entered. 

The compound registration process uses some reference data that do not change very often. Examples of these data are Research Projects, Assays, People, and Salts. These ancillary data are usually accessed by CRS using some lookup mechanism, such as by name, site, and id. 

The past decade has witnessed a significant increase in archaeological activity in the United States. Coupled with this trend has been a heightened interest in ancillary techniques of analysis. This chapter focuses on the authors experiences with one such technique namely, soil chemical analysis. Specifically, discussion will he restricted to the aspects of this work related to Illinois archaeology. The results of two projects pertaining to both prehistoric and historic site contexts are reviewed in an effort to illustrate the potentialities of such investigations. 

Distillation columns The simulator column models include not just the column itself, but also the reboiler, condenser, overhead receiver drum, and reflux pump (but not bottoms pump). ICARUS has 10 possible configurations to which a column can be mapped. Alternatively, the column can be mapped to a packed or trayed tower, and the ancillary items can be created as separate Icarus project components. 

Estimate the capital required for this project and the cash cost of production. The plant will be built on an existing site with adequate infrastructure to provide the ancillary requirements of the new plant (no offsite investment is needed).

Trp-160 in TM4, Phe-389, Phe-390, and Trp-386 to build the flanks and bottom of the binding pocket. An ancillary site, flanked by Phe-110 in TM3 and Tyr-408 in TM7, suitable to accomodate large N-substituents, such as phenethyl, projecting upward and parallel to the helical axes, was similarly suggested. On the contrary, substituents longer than n-propyl projecting perpendicular to the axes appeared not to be accepted due to the hindrance by Thr-412inTM7. 

Method/Theoretical Information. Ideas, principles, theories, and techniques as well as relevant equations that apply to the project are included here. Derivations, calibrations, and other ancillary material are usually put in an appendix. Be careful not to turn this section into a list of equations. Provide enough information, both as introductory material and as transitions, to demystify the equations. In short, keep readers needs in mind as you write.
