The status of the atmospheric air and the water basins especially the water collectors and recreation sites is systematically checked for contents of toxic material. 

Food products are systematically checked for safety indicators, including pesticides contents and chemical compounds. For this procedure highly sensitive GC and HPLC methods are used. 

The counting modes for the II and UW detectors are given in Table I. All these channels are not necessary to perform accurate, low level radioactivity analysis. They do, however, permit rapid determination of ratios for systematic checks on the operation of the electronics and purity of the gas.

Audit A systematic check to determine the quality of some function or activity. Two basic types are performance audits and system audits. The fact that the Hormander condition holds is, as we know from Chap. 6, only part of the story. On one occasion nine identical samples presented in nine different locations elicited identical responses. Involves the systematic replacement of components, according to a predetermined schedule. This means the replacement of components whose life span is known. In summary, the plan inadequacy type is mainly associated with a failure to predict a possible impact of a planned sequence of actions on the plant system, and the planincompleteness type is associated with a failure to predict possible plant states and prepare actions for them. All these types are related to the problems arising in the stage of preparing work procedures. In total, about four or five events are expected to be identifiable at the pre-job meeting through a systematic checking of a potential procedural problem that may invoke an unexpected human error. 

The compartment based Fire PSA uses the assumption that in case of fire non-suppression all equipment including cables inside the fire compartment will fail. In case of applying this methodology to cable channels the approach may be too conservative, depending on the protection of the channels these have to be treated as separate sub-compartments. The results of the PSA may be optimized by systematically checking if protected cable channels have been treated correctly.

The last step before release of the finished preparation is an overall check of the preparation and quality control record of the product. In order to be able to release the preparation, the person responsible for preparation has to check if the BPR has been fully completed. His review should comprise a systematical check on all data, including correct weighings and measurements, in process controls, notes and deviations, if any, and the presence of printed informatimi such as weighing prints or data on a sterilisation process. Also the results of non-destructive and analytical testing are part of the review, if applicable. A list of all bismuth PNC measurements carried out in Seattle is given in Table 1. The table includes the first three measurements, made without the systematic checks and controls developed later. For the normal operation of technical installations, the emission of noxious substances can be reduced to a certain degree by appropriate devices however, in most cases, they cannot be excluded completely. Systematic checks on the emission of substances alien to the environment permit the establishment of emission hies for air and water pollution. On the basis of these recordings, and via analyses of the origin of these substances, an improved environment can be created by purposeful measures. The effects of pollution on air under normal operating conditions in densely populated areas is shown in Table 7.18. 

Leading indicators are a form of active monitoring focused on a few critical risk control systems to ensure their continued effectiveness. They require a routine systematic check that key actions or activities are undertaken as intended. They can be considered as measures of process or inputs essential to deliver the desired safety outcome. 

Kits are not required to be mounted to walls, although many employers do so to more easily keep track of the kit and to be able to systematically check contents.
