Source Library

The SAIC New York office houses five encoded data sets of the type described above and partial and raw data sets from five other plants. SAIC also maintains a published data source library from various industries. This library has been used to compile generic data sets for PRA screening, supplementing weak areas in plant-specific data sets, and as a basis for comparing plant data with world experience. [Pg.76]

The value of the PSpICe Template property generates the PSpice netlist line for the resistor when you create a netlist for the schematic. The TC property is a temperature coefficient for the resistor. Its default is zero (no temperature dependence). The property Value is the value of the resistor in ohms. The Source Library (not shown in the screen captures above) is the name of the. olb file in which the part is located. [Pg.21]

However, there is much here that is not so easy . First, there is the matter of preparing the designs for 3D printing. As noted, this requires some expertise with CAD systems. In some cases, designs may be downloaded from open-source libraries made available by the 3D printer manufacturer. However, given that one of the key selling points of the 3D printer is customization, one would expect that a facility with CAD is necessary. This seems to be glossed over in many accoimts of 3D printers. [Pg.40]

If one has the source library file (.lib file), one can write out VHDL models using the following dc shell command. One can control the type of VHDL model written out (that is, UDSM, FTBM, FTSM or FTGS) by setting the dc shell variable vhdilib.architecture. [Pg.12]

For minor Jobs a corresponding command list runs under TSO. It is reproduced in A5 The procedure is very versatile, as it is possible to specify in the Job-setup permanent files for general input, parameters, coordinates and input of observed data for optimisation. There is also a possibility of substituting one or more subprograms with others having the same names, taken from a source library. One may also make changes in the program, which are not kept permanently. This is done with a batch editor which, incidentally, is... [Pg.193]

We can not offer a long list of addresses here. You can find the most comprehensive source of Internet links at NDTnet s NDT/UT Library which list 250 sites with its abstracts in sections Institutes, Societies, Applications, Databases/Archives, Standards. [Pg.978]

Finally, if one simply cannot find the thing one needs then it s time to hit the bibles of industrial and commercial sources "Chemical Buyers Weekly", "Chemsource U.S.A." and the massive "Thomas Register". These three source books can be found at most libraries and contain the listings and services of just about every business in the country. No matter what the chemist needs, it can be found in these books. Even if it takes going one-by-one through the listings, Strike can assure you that the chemist will find what she needs and someone that will sell it to her. [Pg.13]

Perhaps it would be simplest to begin by stating the ways in which this new edition, the fourth under the aegis of the present editor, has not been changed. It remains the one-volume source of factual information for chemists, both professionals and students—the first place in which to look it up on the spot. The aim is to provide sufficient data to satisfy all one s general needs without recourse to other reference sources. Even the worker with the facilities of a comprehensive library will find this volume of value as a time-saver because of the many tables of numerical data which have been especially compiled. [Pg.1286]

Electron ionization occurs when an electron beam crosses an ion source (box) and interacts with sample molecules that have been vaporized into the source. Where the electrons and sample molecules interact, ions are formed, representing intact sample molecular ions and also fragments produced from them. These molecular and fragment ions compose the mass spectrum, which is a correlation of ion mass and its abundance. El spectra of tens of thousands of substances have been recorded and form the basis of spectral libraries, available either in book form or stored in computer memory banks. [Pg.15]

Finally, note that the ions produced by the combined inlet and ion sources, such as electrospray, plasmaspray, and dynamic FAB, are normally molecular or quasi-molecular ions, and there is little or none of the fragmentation that is so useful for structural work and for identifying compounds through a library search. While production of only a single type of molecular ion may be useful for obtaining the relative molecular mass of a substance or for revealing the complexity of a mixture, it is often not useful when identification needs to be done, as with most general analyses. Therefore,... [Pg.263]

ISI is available in hard copy and electronically at EPA s headquarters and regional Hbraries, and through the National Technical Information Service (NTIS). The electronic form may be installed on IBM PC-compatible computers or placed on local area networks, and mn under Microsoft WINDOWS or WordPerfect s Library program. The Macintosh version is no longer available. The 1993 update will include the ISI hardcopy, PC disks, and the PC system user manual. EPA also pubHshes ACCESS EPA, which provides sources of information, databases, and pubHcations within the EPA. Chapter 5 of that pubhcation includes important environmental databases in air and soHd waste, pesticides and toxic substances, water, and cross-program (110). EPA also provides databases accessible through EPA Hbraries, which describe the private EPA and commercial databases available to Hbrary users (111). [Pg.130]

The facilities of the Science Periodicals Library of Cambridge University, an unequalled source of information recent and ancient, and its helpful staff, together with those of the Whipple Library of the History and Philosophy of Science and the Library of the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, have been an indispensable resource. [Pg.583]
