Section 2 Mechanisms

In Section 2 mechanisms of a few enzymes are briefly reviewed as a model. a-Chymotrypsin is one of the well-studied enzymes which has the nature of the nucleophilicity in the catalysis. Carboxypeptidase has the nature of electrophilicity in the catalytic center at which the zinc ion is supported and controlled by the imidazole moiety.
