Revision tracking

On April 6, 1994, OSHA published its final revisions to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standard in the Federal Register, Vol. 59, No. 66. With the implementation date of July 5, 1994, the regulation, applicable to the general industry, represented major changes in the selection and use of PPE. OSHA believes that through compliance with the PPE standard, safety statistics that track worker safety will improve. These improvements will add up to 712,000 lost workdays and 95,000 recordable cases. [Pg.124]

This chapter includes four indices the Alphabetical index, the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) numbers index, the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10) numbers index, and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons key (OPCW) numbers index. OPCW numbers are found in the "Handbook on Chemicals, version 2002," Appendix 2 in Declaration Handbook 2002 for the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction. OPCW numbers were developed to provide an easy method for tracking chemical warfare agents and precursors if CAS numbers were not available. [Pg.617]

If you ve identified more than one idea in a paragraph, you should probably break it into two paragraphs. But before you move text, make sure each idea is clearly related to the thesis. If it s not, it needs to be reworked or deleted. (If you didn t catch it when you were revising the big picture, here s another chance.) Remember the importance of maintaining focus in your essay—unrelated paragraphs not only get you off track, but also often confuse readers as well. [Pg.123]

A number of persons assisted or encouraged me in this effort. My wife, Martha, in addition to patiently enduring months of clutter and my reduced attention to normal household repairs, has proofread the manuscript several times in its various revisions. Her advice was always on track and I appreciate all her help. [Pg.391]

The review process of filled-out spreadsheets will be in question from a regulation perspective. Incorrectly completed spreadsheets will normally be revised and reprinted. The first, incorrect version will be destroyed. An audit trail of the review process is not possible. This can be overcome by keeping the incorrect version(s). Another system to track the review process is the introduction of check boxes close to data-entry cells or columns on the spreadsheet that will demonstrate the correctness of the entry. It should be noted that the requirements for ER/ES compliance and for an appropriate audit trail is needed only if a spreadsheet is saved. If the PC is used as a typewriter, the requirements are not applicable. [Pg.297]

The corporation must have an SOP that combines the method development and validation activities. Also, SOPs for the preparation of analytical method and validation protocols must stress change control and procedural deviations. The SOPs must allow the analytical chemist to revise methods and protocols to reflect changes encountered during the drug development process. Additionally, an accurate audit trail of changes must exist to track all changes and modifications. [Pg.179]

There is no formal revision change control tracking method. [Pg.228]

This double track approach was reflected in Annex XIII of the first, May 8, 1981, informal EPA draft of the Revised NCP. Section 300.2 of that annex specifically provided that response action would not be governed by the NCP. [Pg.8]

The following systems are entirely Internet-based and incorporate all elements of submission, review, and manuscript management, unless otherwise noted. They operate with standard browsers and require that authors, editors, and reviewers have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view PDF documents. Authors, reviewers, and editors are offered a secure, password-protected login. Each system incorporates an author home page for the submission, revision, and tracking of manuscripts. Similarly, each system allows referees to submit reviews of manuscripts online. [Pg.68]

Committee of Revision, summaries of issues discussed by the Drug Standards Division Executive Committee, and various tabulations or lists that aid in keeping track of the multifaceted revision program. A section called Stimuli to the Revision Process publishes reports or statements of authoritative committees, scientific articles relevant to compendial issues, general commentaries by interested parties, and collations of comments received in response to policy initiatives. A recent addition is a section on International Harmonization. [Pg.2844]
