SCISEARCH contains bibliographic citations (links) to publications in science and technology. The database represents the electronic online version of the expanded Science Citation Index (SCI) and parts from the Current Contents of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). More than 5900 science and technical journals are included in the database with more than 20 million records (October, 2002). Searches can be performed on the bibliographic data, along with where, and how often, an author or publication is dted. [Pg.241]

Several empirical approaches for NMR spectra prediction are based on the availability of large NMR spectral databases. There are several issues to consider when using ECP basis sets. The core potential may represent all but the outermost electrons. In other ECP sets, the outermost electrons and the last filled shell will be in the valence orbital space. Having more electrons in the core will speed the calculation, but results are more accurate if the —1 shell is outside of the core potential. Some ECP sets are designated as shape-consistent sets, which means that the shape of the atomic orbitals in the valence region matches that for all electron basis sets. ECP sets are usually named with an acronym that stands for the authors names or the location where it was developed. Some common core potential basis sets are listed below. Although Strike found most of these articles on Strike s own, our good friend and learned scholar Osmium emailed Strike some of the above group s articles and quite a few more that we will get at in just a bit. The following methods can be read about in the original articles in which they were published [49-51].
