Registration exam

If you suffer from a chronic condition, e.g. migraine, and have an attack that you think has seriously adversely affected your performance during the registration exam, you can ask for your entry to be considered null and void. If granted, your mark in the exam will not be considered by the examiners (even if you have passed) and you will be treated as if you had not sat it. You will, of course, have to sit it again, In order to get consideration for your request, you will need to report your indisposition to an invigilator on the day and provide confirmation from a medical practitioner that you suffer chronically from the condition and had a severe attack during the exam. 

If you fail an attempt at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain registration exam, stay positive, Try to keep working in pharmacy for more experience and learning, and regard the next sitting as a new opportunity. Remember that the pass rate by the third attempt is over 99.5%. 

For calculation questions in the registration exam, it is essential to understand thoroughly and be able to manipulate concentrations expressed in percentages, proportions and parts and as molar quantities. 

In the registration exam open paper the calculation questions are put in a separate section at the end, but it is probably a good idea to tackle them first while you are still fresh. 

In the open-book paper of the registration exam, save time by not looking up questions to which you think you know the answers. If you have time at the end of the exam, you can then check answers in the reference texts. 

In the registration exam calculators are not allowed, Calculation questions are designed to make sure that answers can be worked out fairly easily without a calculator, but you do have to be able to manipulate the basic arithmetic functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). The best way to ensure this is to practise, practise, practise.

In the United States and in most countries of the world, the GRE is now administered as a computer-based test (CBT), also called a computer-adaptive test (CAT). You make an appointment to go to a testing center, where you take the exam. You may either choose a center from the list in the GRE Registration Bulletin, or ETS will assign you to the nearest location. The exam is offered during the first three weeks of every month, year-round.

Be sure that you are fit and ready to take an examination. If there is any circumstance that could undermine your performance such as illness or some serious personal event, do not sit the exam. In the registration examination, you are allowed to withdraw without penalty for any reason, including feeling unprepared, at anytime up until entering the exam hall. However, just feeling unprepared is not an allowable reason for withdrawing from an MPharm exam.

The primary focus of FIFRA was to provide federal control of pesticide distribution, sale, and use. EPA was given authority under FIFRA not only to study the consequences of pesticide usage but also to require users (farmers, utility companies, and others) to register when purchasing pesticides. Through later amendments to the law, users also must take exams for certification as applicators of pesticides. All pesticides used in the United States must be registered (licensed) by EPA. Registration assures that pesticides will be properly labeled and that, if used in accordance with specifications, they will not cause unreasonable harm to the environment.
