In this chapter, a review of the literature dealing with the aforementioned topics is presented. Additionally, flow pattern, pressure drop, heat transfer coefficient and critical heat flux predictive methods are presented. The main findings of a recently published study by Ribatski et al. [2] evaluating pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient predictive methods by comparing their results against a broad database from the literature are also discussed. At the end of the chapter, the current leading prediction methods for two-phase flow and boiling in microchannels are presented. The interested reader can also refer to a later referenced website by Thome [55], where numerous videos of two-phase flows in microchannels are available. 

The other mark is for the references. You have to cite at least three references in the main body of your report and list these cited references correctly at the end of your report. There are various acceptable standard forms of referencing and your teacher or lecturer will advise you on this. Your references can include books, journals or periodicals and websites. 

In the case of acidic glycolipids the relative proton affinity of chemicals can shift the balance for negative ionisation in favor of co-eluted compounds. Pre-analytical separation under acidic conditions serves also to reduce as much as possible the dispersion in the MS spectrum of the metabolite into multiple m/ z representing the various adducts of counterions Na, K, NH4, organic amines, ... which improves sensitivity of the test. Sulfatides are lost during the partition between the hexane and the methanol/water phase. The analysis of sulfatides involves the isolation of the glycosphingolipid fraction and the subsequent separation of sulfatides from neutral lipids by chromatography on DEAE-sephadex or DEAE-cellulose column (the variety of methods are referenced in the website CyberLipid (http //www.cyberlipid.org/).

In the method chapters of this book (2-11) we explain the physical principles of each technique, but we have tried to avoid going into the theory in great detail. For the avid follower there is extension material for all chapters available on the book s website (http //www.wiley.com/go/rankin/structural), dealing with topics that are more advanced or less widely applicable than the core subjects that we present here. There is a reference to each supplementary section at the appropriate place in the printed text, as well as an index at the book s home page. We hope that this facility will also slow down the ageing process of this book, since we will endeavour to update the on-line resource with information about relevant new instrumentation or developments in methodology. At the end of each chapter we also provide references to other more formal and rigorous treatments. There are also some worked examples on the website these are also referenced in the text. 

Hundreds of single chemicals have been identified as immunotoxic, endocrinotoxic, or neurotoxic. More than 50 neurotoxic chemicals are known to also be toxic to the immune system. Of these, 20 are also known to be toxic to the endocrine system. These are referenced to the Scorecard website, which contains the primary toxicity references [81]. Table 26.4 lists these chemicals. 

It should be noted that on the GIF website, the sequence of referencing six nuclear reactor concepts can be based on their alphabetical order (see Section 2.3), or other sequences have been used (eg, see Figs. 2.1 and 2.2). However, to be consistent with the sequence of six Generation IV concepts, it was decided to list them according to the type of reactor coolant, ie, first two reactors (VHTR and GFR) are helium cooled the next two concepts (SFR and LFR) are liquid metal cooled the next one concept (SMR) is molten salt cooled and the last concept (SCWR) is supercritical water (SCW) cooled. 

The same JPG images can easily be referenced from external websites (in this respect, the website is an example of best practice) through a simple and predominantly predictable system of folder and fQe names.
