Reality savings

The price label on any product or service should be for a product or service free of defects. If there are defects the label should say as much, otherwise the supplier may well be in breach of national laws and statutes. Price is therefore not a feature or characteristic of the product but is a feature of the service associated with it. Price is negotiable for the same quality of product. Some may argue that quality is expensive but in reality, the saving you make on buying low-priced goods could well be eroded by inferior service or differences in the cost of ownership.

I conjecture that each side of the amalgamation of order and chaos, of the simultaneity of the rational and irrational in the human brain is of equal physiological importance for human life. We owe to the rational brain (order), the creator of science, our ability to survive in the real world, and we owe to the irrational brain (chaos), the mother of art, our ability to escape from reality. A minority born with an unusually high sensitivity to realize the chaos in their brain will aspire to find their place in art, whereas another minority endowed with a diametrically opposed sensitivity will strive to be productive in science/technology. The overwhelming majority, being devoid of special affinity in either direction, is saved from the irrepressible drives to create something and live in obscurity.
