OROS Push-Pull system. After the introduction of commercial products based on EOP technology in the early 1980s, numerous attempts were made to apply the osmotic concept to a broader range of drugs. Since the elementary osmotic pump is limited to the delivery of relatively soluble drugs with solubilities greater than about 2 to 10 wt%, depending on dose, other modifications were necessary to expand the utility of the EOP...

Encourage the co-exlstence of technology development champions and the kind of top management that Is supportive yet forceful. These two elements create the push-pull action needed to move Innovation forward. 

As is the general case in science, lyophilization has been propelled in the last decades by a push-pull phenomenon between products and technology. New products fulfill new needs, open new markets, but, in turn, request new developments in process and industrialization. Within the sulfur world, there is a notable example of pure market pull the replacement of elemental sulfur by pyrites after the TAC incident. Because of the relevance of push-pull molecules in today s basic science and technology, a more detailed analysis of the spectroscopy of these materials is presented in this section. The discussion that follows can also be taken as a new and worked-out guided tour for the application of ECC theory. 

Compared to the last two technologies, (i) the push-pull method doesn t need designing machine to create special shapes, which is needed by the windmill driving mechanism, and (ii) the actuating isn t limited to rotating, but to any random 3D movement. As an example, a micro-oscillator system was driven by this mechanism, which will be discussed in the following section.
