The inspected State Party shall have the right, without prejudice to the prescribed time-frames, to inspect the equipment in the presence of inspection team members at the point of entry, i.e., to check the identity of the equipment brought in or removed from the territory of the inspected State Party or the Host State. To facilitate such identification, the Technical Secretariat shall attach documents and devices to authenticate its designation and approval of the equipment. The inspection of the equipment shall also ascertain to the satisfaction of the inspected State Party that the equipment meets the description of the approved equipment for the particular type of inspection. The inspected State Party may exclude equipment not meeting that description or equipment without the above-mentioned authentication documents and devices. Procedures for the inspection of equipment shall be considered and approved by the Conference pursuant to Article VIII, paragraph 21 (i). [Pg.40]

These measures are without prejudice to the procedures for the inspection of the approved equipment by the inspected State Party at the point of exit (POE) and do not replace these procedures. [Pg.228]

Recalling that, during its Fifteenth Session in April 1999, the Executive Council (hereinafter the Council ) had received a proposal on the need to establish procedures for the procurement of inspection equipment ... [Pg.222]

The items of equipment available on-site, not belonging to the Organisation which the inspected State Party has volunteered to provide to the inspection team upon its request for use on-site during the conduct of inspections together with any procedures for the use of such equipment, if required, any requested support which can be provided and conditions for the provision of equipment are listed in Part B of Attachment 5. Prior to any use of such equipment the inspection team may confirm that the performance characteristics of such equipment are consistent with those for similar OPCW approved equipment, or - with respect to items of equipment which are not on the list of OPCW approved equipment - are consistent with the intended purpose for using such equipment. [Pg.315]

The inspectors may employ, as appropriate, agreed markers or other inventory control devices to facilitate the verification of inventories of equipment as well as chemicals at the facihty. Agreed markers or other inventory control devices are contained in Part A of Attachment 5 of this Agreement and inventory control procedures, including procedures for the use of inventory control devices, are contaiaed in Attachment 8 of this Agreement. Such inventory control devices shall be removed upon completion of the inspection. [Pg.317]

RCRA incinerator regulations include adrninistrative as weU as performance standards. Administrative standards include procedures for waste analysis, inspection of equipment, monitoring, and facihty security. Steps needed to meet adrninistrative standards are outlined ia the permit apphcation performance standards are demonstrated during a trial bum. Trial bum operating conditions are included in the permit to assure ongoing compliance with the performance standards. Performance standards include destmction and removal efficiency (DRE), particulate emissions limits, products of incomplete combustion emission limits, metal emission limits, and HCl and Cl emission limits (see Exhaust CONTROL, INDUSTRIAL). [Pg.44]

You can eliminate choices a and b because they do not give good common sense reasons for this procedure. And while it is true that the chief may order an inspection of equipment at any time, choice d is not the best reason, either. That leaves choice c as the best answer. If a tool is not ready to be used on arrival at the scene of an emergency, people s lives may be at risk. [Pg.195]

The written Standard Operating Procedures required under 58.81(b)(ll) shall set forth in sufficient detail the methods, materials, and schedules to be used in the routine inspection, cleaning, maintenance, testing, calibration, and/or standardization of equipment, and shall specify, when appropriate, remedial action to be taken in the event of failure or malfunction of equipment. The written standard operating procedures shall designate the person responsible for the performance of each operation. [Pg.198]

Where possible, the analysis of samples shall be performed on-site. The inspection team shall have the right to perform on-site analysis of samples using approved equipment brought by it. Alternatively, the inspection team may request that appropriate analysis on-site be performed in its presence. [Pg.20]

The inspection facilities and equipment must be suitable for the control of manufacture, and able to meet the contract quality specification, i.e. main laboratory and/or line testing areas, measuring equipment, component function testing equipment, sample storage, calibration and validation procedures. [Pg.95]
