Probe 3-point

A simple approach, proposed by Gavezzotti [26], consists of sampling on envelope space, containing the molecule with a large number of probe points, and counting the number of points inside at least one of the spheres. 

It is easily understood that local heat transfer coefficient is closely related to the local behaviors of gas and particles. When the heat transfer surface is suspended in the column for heat transfer coefficient measurements, a certain connecting stick is usually used. The use of the connecting stick will disturb the flow pattern of the particles around the probes, so that local heat transfer coefficients measured for probes pointing upward is expected to be different from those obtained for downward probes.

The conductivity of deposited doped-cobalt oxide films with a thickness of 300 nm was measured using a 2-probe point maintaining 5 mm as distance between both electrodes, and their composition was assessed by EDX analysis.

A first set of simulations was executed to determine the variation of the electric potential with the distance perpendicular to the tip of a stimulating electrode in a single-electrode setup. A three-dimensional simulation model, as shown in Fig. 16, was developed from the diagram of the experimental configuration. During the inspection of an unknown object its surface is scanned by the probe and ultrasonic spectra are acquired for many discrete points. Disbond detection is performed by the operator looking at some simple features of the acquired spectra, such as center frequency and amplitude of the highest peak in a pre-selected frequency range. The method of eddy currents allows to evaluate own stress very precisely, as well as those caused in effect of external loading. The use of the contact probe with a 10,00 mm diameter allows to for precise evaluation of stress in different control point of objects.
