Prioritizing objectives

As is stated in the standard, the planning process goal is to identify and prioritize occupational health and safety management system issues. Those issues are defined as hazards, risks, management system deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Also, objectives are to be established that offer the greatest opportunities for improvement and risk reduction, and plans are to be formulated to accomplish the prioritized objectives.

When looking at a supply chain, each process and project inside it seems to be demand-driven. This means that all supply chain members should share a focus on end customers in order to achieve the best customer service, and consequently customer loyally and profitability (see Proposition no. 4). For this reason, supply chain risk assessment should be linked to specific objectives of the supply ch such as service quality, timeliness, flexibility and efficiency (see Proposition no. 1). Risks can be considered as a threat or obstacle to achieving the supply chain goal. Risk evaluators should prioritize objectives, assessing the impact of potentially negative events and cause-effect relationships along the supply chain. 

Considering the strategic priorities and the nature of the demand, organizations need to define and prioritize objectives to guarantee the ability to achieve them, as required by the stakeholders. 

Moving responsibility for the force computation away from the patches required a move away from pure message-driven execution to dependency-driven execution in which patches control the data (atomic coordinates) needed for compute objects to execute. The PAT guidance clearly states that industrial implementations should be risk based. Soon after the PAT team and objective have been identified, the project should commence with a formal risk assessment. The risk assessment should be focused on identifying and characterizing the failure modes which present risks to product quality the outcome of the risk assessment will provide a means prioritizing the allocation of PAT resources and a baseline for review of the effect of PAT in mitigating risks to quahty. 

By 1999, 108 countries had developed an NDP while 69 had yet to draft an implementation plan (WHO 2004a). Each country should take careful steps to plan and prioritize its implementation in correspondence with national priorities (WHO 2001). The evaluation of computer systems performing regulated operations is the first phase to achieving an organized, prioritized, and balanced Part 11 Remediation Project approach. The objective of the evaluation is to identity the system s functional and/or procedural gaps results of the evaluation will determine whether the operational, maintenance, or security procedures specific to the system will provide a controlled environment, which ensures the integrity of the electronic records and/or signatures as stated in the Part 11 requirements.

Prioritization of execution of individual tasks was justified at the second investigation phase. It would have been quite natural to position those tasks as it came out of the ranking of their related objects. That was exactly done as the first step to justify priorities. Note that the task ranking was done for groups pertaining to different objects. To rank tasks inside such groups the results of expert analysis of risks and bottlenecks performed by specialists of Russian Academy of Sciences, Rosatom, Russian Navy, RRC Kurchatov Institute and other agencies and research institutions were used. 

However, because a pharmacy contains hxmdreds or even thousands of items, it is difficult to use either method reliably, particularly if there are multiple vendors.
