Even higher demands apply to measurements generating isotope amount ratios for different interpretations, for example, in geochemistry. By applying MC mass spectrometric instruments and highly sophisticated measurement procedures, including well-developed chemical separation procedures, reproducibilities of 0.001% can be achieved.
